Shadow of the Colossus - After #12 swirling clouds

I took Wander high up above the clouds we see in the cut scene after the 12th boss (Pelagia) is defeated. I made him invisible then recorded this video. Think of it as a SotC ASMR video ; ) Just relax and enjoy the sights and wind sounds... wwwwoooooossssshhhhhh!

I noticed the cloud formation repeats about every 30 seconds. This happens in the retail version of the game too. What's actually really interesting though is that instead of having a jarring jump cut back to the original cloud formation, the clouds just seemingly blend together while repeating the same formation. There's not even a slight pause before the repeating cycle starts. Just smooth cloud formations drifting over the Forbidden Lands.

Long time fan, Nomad. Have you made a video about the cutscenes that play when one idles on the main menu? The beautiful song The Farthest Land plays while Agro runs or an eagle flies depending on the current save shrine location. It's the greatest main menu cutscene in any game I'm aware of.

I once encountered a bug in ICO, where the enemies stopped attacking me. I noticed that they have some animations and movement patterns you don’t normally get to see, including one that looks like an intricate, ritualistic dance. I wasn’t prepared with screen capture software, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t see those animations again. I’m pretty sure Ueda must have done those animations himself, they looked pretty special. Great video, and thanks for all that you continue to do for us hardcore fans of these games.

I sure hope so. I think all of us hope so. At the very least give us something that let's us know what type of game it's going to be. My expectations are very high, but I'm trying not to get too overly hyped. All we know at the moment is that it will be an open world game. In the meantime I'm still holding onto hope that we get a remake of "ICO" & a Definitive Edition for S.O.T.C. in celebration of the 20th anniversary next year.

Hopefully next year with a Definitive Edition of the game to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Of course if that was to actually happen, we'd more than likely not only get a 17th colossus, but most (maybe all) of the cut colossi. There's a good chance the map would also get expanded & with any luck we would also finally get access to climb all the way up past the Secret Garden to the very top of the main temple. Let's keep out fingers crossed.

@@Snaaake_Beater I'm talking about climbing all the way to the very top. Before the game was officially released, you could actually climb all the way to the top. For some reason though access to get past the Secret Garden is blocked off in the retail release. As for "Beyond The Forbidden Lands", I'm looking forward to that when it's finally ready. But I would still like a PS4/PS5 Definitive Edition of S.O.T.C. with extras to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

Do you think, if you found a way to get in contact with the original creators, that you could ask them to send you the deleted colossi and all of the extra that has been scrapped from the Final Cut? I mean, surely they could be willing to do that since you’ve done so much for their game. They even went as far as thanking you in the remake.
