Hi TikTak, Thank you very much for your tutorial, I am progressing from day to day thanks to you, but I am not good at English, so forgive me, if I am wrong. You were awesome to show us the movements, the jumps, the "stabs" and the "plants" as well as the jumpstabs and resetstabs, admitting that you were not the best ... @@weitgg3939 I'm glad the video helped! Thanks for the nice words. The subtitles were provided by a french member from our community. If you are interested in subtitles to other videos I can let him know, even though I obviously can't promise anything since it's a lot of work. Make sure to follow IncepSean on YT and twitch, if you don't already. He is a french runner and rn probably the best runner for full game (He took the HTA bossrush and any% hard WR recently and has probably the craziest NTA bossrush ever). HE is very humble and likes to talk french on streams as well!

the option of jumping and whistling works for me in the hub world but won't work when fighting colossus, wander just whistles instead of resetting

If you're on the colossus Wander gets slowed down which makes this movement way harder. Usually it is colossi specific in that case. Watch Plush's tutorial in the description or ILs/Boss Rushes from experienced players for that. The movement shown here is mostly for getting to the colossi or moving to objectives like on cenobia. You need initial speed to whistle and not stop, that's the key here.

Hi, your video is amazing! The first time i played SOTC was on ps3, years ago. I came back playing on ps4 right now and im a lot interested on SOTC speedruns, also your video is helping me SO MUCH, u have no idea! I will eventually watch all the boss guides from you. Pleaseease help. 20:20. Cycle stab, and/or reset stabs. I can't get it! I've slowed down your game play, and im in the exact location you are but my sword takes forever to pull out

Is it doing damage? If not you are too far at the top/right. Try to first stab and see if wander pulls out the stab or if he shakes after stabbing. If he shakes after stabbing you are in the right position. After that you can try to chain the stabs by repositioning. In that case it'll look like I did.

@@TikTak12 how tight of a spot is it? It deals damage, but he doesn't shake. I've gotten it like maybe once because I got frustrated and started button smashing. But intentionally and consistently can't do it. Once the stab goes it, I can't reposition till after the swords out

@@joshualawson4326 It's not that bad. You can go farther to the left as well. It has to be farther up though. And yes if you get the plant and don't shake you can't reposition. Maybe join the discord server if you haven't yet. If you record your attempts me or other runners can help you out.

There is a link in the comments to plush's video that covers it. Essentially the most important thing is to get wander on the upper ledge without him shaking. The sidejump to the left is very short. Try to hold it almost not at all. It's very similar to Argus and imo even easier. If that plush video doesn't help you I would consider covering it and making a new vid.

@@BackSlashJvb125 What do you mean turn the controller? You should go on any ledge and try to make wander jump to the side. So while grabbing hold left on the stick and jump. Now once you got that try reducing the amount of time you hold it. It's almost just a tap. The timing is essential here. If you get flung up you did the sidejump too late.

I don't get it... I've been trying Hard time attack on Gaius in the PS3 Remaster and I think I'm missing the plant part. Each time it seems I get to the right spot, the colossus shake and I'm done, I can't focus my stabs anymore. For example, no way I can charge a full stab in his belly or in his head. What am I missing? How do I know I'm grabbing it in the right place? (oh, even though I'm having a hard time, your videos are super useful!)

The PS3 version is known to have more shakes and hta gaius is definitely the worst of them. The headplant is precise and based on timing as well, the belly doesn't have a plant. There it's important to stab while gaius does certain animations. I recommend watching my gaius launch guide. The second part explains an easy way of getting to the belly quickly and that one also works on ps3. I have an hta guide as well and the strategy I show there also can work on ps3, but that one is tricky and I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that feel free to join the speedrun discord. People there are always ready to help

Time to start my 17 days of training Ok maybe not yet. Last ps4 died so lost my progress. Gotta get all the shit again. Coins fucking suck just because of the amount of time. First time I went for the coins I missed one and spent atleast an hour trying to get it.

Some things do, some work differently, some dont. On PS2 it's fastest to just roll. Plants work the same. Cycle stabs are similiar but have a different feel to it.
