I agree about feeling bad when killing the colossi. One thing I really appreciate about this game is, most games the guy with the sword who slays the giant beasts is considered the hero. This game takes that concept and flips it on it's head. I mean you're trespassing on this sacred ground and these colossi are minding their own business, and here you come like some parasite ready to kill them. Of course you sympathize with him cause his girl is dead and he's going to desperate measures to bring her back, but you still can't shake this feeling that something is wrong about this whole scenario without the game having to tell you to feel that way. As the game goes on you start to realize that YOU'RE the real monster, not the colossi. This game manages to tell a very grey shaded dark depressing tragic story with very little in the way of story telling or lore, making it a work of art in my book

I remember playing the game on my ps2. I didnt knew that you could find the colossi by shining the light reflected through the sword since I accidentally skipped the starting cut scene. So I found the colossi by roaming all around the map. I beat 10 colossi until I discovered the right way.

That collision with its wing would had broken anyones skull, spine, ribs and extremities like twigs being crushed by a collapsing skyscraper. Is it just me or does that diminish any feeling of being 'threatened' in the game for anyone else as well?

For me, this was the first really hard fight, getting on the wings, your stamina drains so quickly, I fell off each wing, then climbed the tail, amazing fight, beautiful Colossi as well.

Yeah he keeps saying how he feels so bad about killing them, when you don't learn you're actually the bad guy till nearer the end. It's a gradual realisation which is what makes it so great and you kinda spoil it straight off.

It’s to late now, but for anyone wanting to play, the more center your attacks in the weak spots the more damage you do. The eyes also count, as weak spots. To raise stamina and health you have to both kill, then eat the birds, fruit, and lizards

Ok when I first saw this game a while back I was like this game looks bad ass. I even seen a review on it and heard that it never was any good which kind of confused me because it kind of reminded me of Zelda. But now I notice that you just go to a colossus and kill it..... I thought there was more to this game either than running/ riding to a boss and stabbing it. Yes the graphics are extremely good.... But all you do is run to a boss stab...stab... then on to a next one? I feel like the creator wasted a lot potential. This game could have become the new Zelda :/.

The controllers are terrible on this game. One can not get him to move very well long the fur. I appreciate that is part of the challenge, but at least make it consistent. Some times it works well at other times not. Goofy
