by far the worst designed time attack. Its completely the AI doing the work here. How can you have a speedrun mode if its based on luck.

This is probably very late, but those tunnels aren't the only way to get on him. You can use agro to stand on him and jump on his legs, then scale up and there's a conveniently placed ledge you can scale and get to the top of him, did this in normal in 01:46, hoped it helped haha!

Who thought it was a good Idea to put weakspots on Phaedras shoulders? No who seriously thought that was good. Phaedra literally sheugs the smallest bit and Wander goes flying on the balljoint that is his wrist. Not to mention 2 minutes of a 5 minute battle are spent waiting for the AI to cooperate

Originally, when he leans down, I ran out the hole its leaning over and jump grab the things hanging off it's head, then climb up that. I never knew you could go up that back bit haha.

2 tips: 1. Stab the red spot on his neck twice, after the first one he throws his head up, after the second one he lowers his head. Gets you to the vital on his head easily. 2. For the vital spot on his head, use sub-maximal stabs. If you deliver the stabs quickly enough he NEVER shakes you out of position. It takes more stabs but it is much quicker. Each stab makes him lower his head and resets his shaking cycle; but your charge cycle is longer than his shaking cycle, so if you wait for a maximum charge he will shake you loose.

If you're struggling with this my advice is to just be patient during the first phase. That's the crux of it. Once you're on his back you can beat him relatively fast. Like the video demonstrates, just get his attention on one entrance, then stay hidden until he dips. Just stay out of sight until he does. You might burn through a couple minutes but again you don't need much time once you're on him.

As pain as it sounds on paper this one actually isn't so bad. If you can't do the leg strat, hop on aggro and run to the opposite tunnel from where Phaedra starts, shot at it a bit and then dive in and come out on a nearby tunnel and watch it from afar. Should take about 2 minutes total on the clock for it to get in position, climb its tail thing and then go head > shoulder > shoulder. If you time your attacks right so you never get cancelled by it shaking you should be able to get it. Did it in 2 attempts at 4:43.92 on hard.

You wasted way too much time trying to make sure he can see you. You can save so much time by simply rushing it. It's best to enter the tunnel as soon as he's in the middle of the arena. He'll be ready to be climbed onto by the time you leave the tunnel.
