Ranking the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree BOSSES on a TIER LIST. There's some really great bosses in this DLC, but some may be a disappointment to others, so I wanted to touch on this topic because I had a lot of fun with this game. I think that some of these bosses are my favorite in the entire game, but some of them I just want a bit more out of. I try to keep this as balanced as possible so I always include an F tier boss

Exact same placement on my part except I would swap Radahn and Metyr, I really liked the way Metyr was just a super bizarre boss both in a gross and elegant way. Radahn was just over the top in terms of challenge for me (it never felt fair and super hard in a Isshin/Malenia/Friede way), and his model somehow looks stiff/unfinished to me (at least in the fist phase), Miquellas addition was really cool though, loved the animations and design of that second phase. Anyway, great video !

Yeah I agree with your points! I love the eldritch horror-esque bosses like it’s straight out of Bloodborne. Radahn was definitely unfair I had to use the fingerprint shield against him. Miquella was cool and totally would’ve rather just fight them Thanks for commenting!

what's amazing to me is how different people will find different boss difficult in this game. First realized when ER came out 2 years ago and some boss I find easy my friends find really hard, and vice versa. I'm pointing this out cause I thought Messmer is nowhere near Malenia for me, but is among the best boss fight in the DLC for me. Also, you probably need to watch Vaati's video if you wanna hear his version of the story....cause it's the Hornsent who were really evil. They turned Marika's tribe, the shamans, into those jar-creature. So Marika ordered Messmer to destroy them as an act of revenge. Agreed on Gaius, he could be a great fight IMO but his hit box need to be fixed...I also got quite a lot of dead-angling from his attack which is just bs....

Unfortunately most were forgettable. A big chunk of them literally felt like normal enemies with a healthbar. Commander gaius, Putrescent knight, and Romina were just there

I don’t know why we didn’t get cutscenes for those bosses since it would really build gaius and romina up

Gotta agree with most of this list, I honestly hate the whole Radhan thing, not for the difficulty at all, I actually found the fight to be decent. It was super disappointing, I was hoping for Godwyn too, thought it was going there with all the thorns, similar to how stormvale is entangled in them because of him. It feels like a bad fan fiction, it be excusable if he was the second last boss, and then we got to fight just miqulla in that divine portal, that would have been much better. I guess I’m more shocked that from dropped the ball on the final boss, it seems just so left wing for Miyazaki tbh.

Yeah I really wanted Godwyn. I’d there’s ever a sequel to Elden Ring (which I don’t have a lot of hope for) I really hope they expand on Godwyn. There are the death knights and you can see his face in the arena but that’s it

@@KhanSahinkaya you can actually climb the divine gate in the boss room using ashes of war, but sadly an invisible wall. Copium: we get a surprise DLC where we have to go through the gate to save Godwyn’s soul

on my second go of the dlc i plan on hunting down all the blessings (that i can) first before fighting the remembrance to see if i feel the difference. A video on their locations would be great 😉😉

I just beat Elden beast on Torrent! So I’m speed running to Mohg tonight 😂 I’ll work on it ! I do think that the scadutree blesssings are kept tho! They’re like flasks

I loved all of them. Though messmer is the best and the finger boss is the worst but I still liked it. Awesome dlc and bosses

Commander giaus was the worst designed hit box I've ever seen its basically impossible to not get hit even the golden hippo had a better hit box and that boss is bigger

@@Riley1393 Agreed. Like you can dodge roll seemingly perfectly but the fart cloud behind commander gaius will somehow hit you regardless

Only boss that is F tier for me is commander giaus but my favourite bosses where messmer , putrescent knight , mertye and bayle . Theses 4 are S for me

Great choices! It’s funny that putrescent knight is such an awesome fight on horseback but the commander gaius fight just sucks

@@JasonDunna their designs are just horror fuel , ones a dragon who’s missing limbs and has dragon heads round his Neck , one has just been stripped out of bloodbourne, one is just a monster made out of fingers and the other is a snake demigod

Biggest disapointment for me this dlc was that the game expects you to summon. Since ds1 i have refused to summon because i want to beat it solo not easy mode. No boss took me longer than that 1v5 gank fight just before radahn. That was stupid and because of that i wish i never bought this dlc. Also Bayle was cool but his moves were cancer, he was not fun to fight at all

Yea I agree with that, it was such a frustrating fight. Awesome arena but the fight was not great
