Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Subterranean River

To exit the tomb. Take the zipline, or jump into the water and go to the lake on the left. Swim to the shore and walk towards the other lake (Lara will bury her guns in the meantime for god knows which reason). Jump in the other lake (with the plants and the frogs). Swim to the shore where there's a frog. There's a wall you can climb on with a double jump, but it's not marked as such. The only way to recognize it, is that there's a white strip on top of the rock. It's at the left side of the rock, not the front side. Once you're on that, climb up, and you'll have to swim again through the cave with the air-pockets to end up in the village.

How did you get out? The camp doesn't work and you can't double back.

From the unlock, you take the zip line down, then just swim at the surface level until you get to a point where you can get out. Then (if i remember correctly) there's a point you can jump to. but its been a while since I played the game. But yeah not every tomb has the same entrance/exit, some of them have separate ways in and out so you just have to follow the natural way that the level guides you, and look for grapple points/white ledges

Been a while since I played. From memory I think once you've flooded the entire room, you can swim back through the same corner you entered the room in (you might have to do some diving) & then I think its just a case of looking for the ledges or grappling hook spots and getting out of there. If you can make it back to the campfire that you went to before going in, you can just fast travel out of there.

@@garyharding2012 hey bud, I'm not actually sure. The only tomb that glitches and doesn't let me use fast travel was the one where you have to use those counter weights in the jungle ( one of the early optional tkmbs) But that was an issue that was involving custom outfits, and weirdly fixed itself if you switched to the jaguar outfit that the game puts you in near the jaguar camp Maybe a similar thing is happening ? Try switching outfits to one of the main ones you acquire in game as opposed to the new game plus outfits ?

People, there are PLENTY of walkthroughs on KZbin, why don't you just look up another video where they show how to go out? I've been stuck for like 20 minutes til I found the way out without watching any video. This one was pretty frustrating.

@@Romy--- I literally just walk out the same way I came in, except you have to swim IIRC, until you get to a campfire and can fast travel

Ha, glad to hear it. I'll be putting more up tomorrow. I decided not to put more tombs up until I got into new game plus and deadly obsession difficulty so that I wasn't using any of her special senses in the videos!

There is a glitch at Subterranean River. When going back to leave, she bends down, puts the gun back, things go dark. She is at the place to leave and she freezes! Restarted several times, but it's always the same. Wth?? How do I get through to get out when she won't move???!

It doesn't work for me. Every time I do that the water comes down only halfway and then rises again. Do you know what I'm supposed to do from there because nothing I'm doing is working

I'll be honest this was done so many years ago, & I never did it for money just as a small hobby really. If I was a dedicated KZbinr, I'd have out more effort into my channel & made things proper, but you know how it is...real life & work, hobbies become priorities. Maybe I'll revive my channel soon, still not sure. It feels like the amount of gaming channels out there these days have taken the shine off KZbin Glad it was marginally helpful 😂

You can get out. There's a zipline from the top where you get the skill. Then you just follow the natural path & I think once you go back toward where you originally came in the room, there's a path you can climb up a different way They always have an exit path, I should've recorded it years ago when I did these videos, but I never assumed it was something people would have an issue with

lol Try to follow the pathways they lay out for you in the game. In deadly obsession mode you start to notice this more, or if you've been a tomb raider fan for decades like me then you always know their little cues for which way you should be going. I haven't played this game in ages, hopefully they're making a new one.
