It had all gone wrong. So very, very wrong. He’d done his best to kill the Ranger initially. And the Ranger has gladly returned the favor. It had been like his Bloodaxe striking again and against against a shield that wouldn’t buckle. Eventually, he gave in. If you couldn’t kill them, join them. At least he could kill other Uruks and they’d stay dead. And he had. In the Gravewalker’s name he’d killed many Uruks. So many that for a moment it felt like they’d actually defeat the Dark Lord. He’d been there when that screaming demon of an Uruk Prak had finally fallen. He’d been a part of the assault on the Black Gate. He’d seen the moment of triumph. And then the boss had left. The Gravewalker had gone east to the great volcano, Mt. Doom, while the rest of them went back to the Sea of Nurnen. And they’d waited. What else could they possibly have done? Then the attacks came. Waves of Uruks spearheaded by those new...things. Those giant slabs of flesh. Those “Ologs”. Against them Kruk and his fellow Warchiefs had stood. And they had fallen. One by one. Until he was the only one left. Even Feldush had fallen, giggling blood through a ruined throat after killing one last Olog captain. After that, he and what few lads remained left their camp in Fort Morn and headed towards Sharkburz, which rumors said the Gravewalker had conquered after being missing for so long. They’d seen a force trying to take back the fort from Uruks armored in blue and cut down a few of the retreating survivors. Then, as Kruk and his lads walked through the gate, a figure fell from the central tower, skewered on a spear. He hadn’t gotten a good look before he and his lads were attacked. He’d passed out just after seeing his last warrior cut down. Now he was the last survivor of the Gravewalker’s army. Not that he’d have that honor long he supposed. He’d woken up tied to a post. He’d heard the other two, a former Warchief and Overlord apparently, shouting at their captors about how their master, some glob called “the Bright Lord”. And Kruk couldn’t believe it. He’d gotten all of his boys killed trying to join the wrong rebel. But it would end soon. He’d join them soon. Maybe see Feldush again. Feldush had been a good Uruk, might even had made a good blood-brother if he’d lived. Then Kruk felt his bonds cut. And then two figures came from behind. The one approaching from his left was a small, pale-green Uruk in bones who didn’t look very smart and sounded annoying. Then Kruk turned his head to see the figure on his right. For moment he had no words. It was the boss. The boss hadn’t forgotten him, had saved him. In that moment nothing mattered more than helping the boss butcher the shrakh eating globs who thought they could tie him up to a post. Later he would learn that the boss was the same “Bright Lord” the other two captives had been talking about. But in that moment his Bloodaxe thirsted. And Kruk was going to sate that thirst.

Awesome story. The only thing maybe I would add is something about how he was "castrated" as it were. Maybe have him being the lone survivor of Nurnen as a wake up call to Kruk that he was not a strong as he used to be and had to beef himself back up before facing the Gravewalker again.

Man, I never tire of seeing Kruk in action. Reminds me of when I did this same mission with my SoM Follower (Muggrish the Warrior). ....He was basically a "clone" of Kruk (same class [Berserker], different tribe though [Warmonger]) as far as his effectiveness in a fight went. Seriously, in the fight against Bruz within the span of about 15 seconds, he'd killed 4 enemy Captains, & sent Bruz running, my former Overlord killed another Captain, and then I killed another. But seeing Muggrish at his bloody work had me both grinning with pride, and wanting to say "save some for me!". And, yes, Muggrish is still very much alive & well, and is still my Nurnen Overlord (I play on the PS4).

Danilo Lopez Mog the Dark Blood He became member of Mystic Tribe and a Necromancer... I learned it during the Damaged mission. He literally ressurected enemy capitan into my undead follower on level 18. (I killed him on 23, but he could level up to 60, it's a glitch)
