I just came back and preordered BfA, I gave my old priest a boost to 110, now my ilvl is 910, but a lot of people say shadow priests are no longer needed because they are so weak. Is this true, or can I do decent DPS?

Most bosses should be easy going for ya! :) Imonar is not so amusing, but the other fights are a cake walk! Be sure to proc your sephuz around as much as you can!

If you have the legendary that gives a second charge of mind blast, does shadowy insight pull ahead in dps?

i've tried shadowy insight and it kind of comes handy in high mobility fights that usually fuck up my rotations like H or M Immonar or Agg but it's situational. On average i've simmed both talents and you still get a tiiiiny bit more DPS with AS. On static fights, for some odd reason, SI tends to throw off my timing

Exactly my question. This is probably the only thing still bugging me about shadow priest. That is when to pop Torrent. I hear it's the best to pop it early - to be able to use it as many times throughout the encounter, or wait for before having the most stacks

that's a hard question because it depends on your haste. If your haste is below 14k you'd be better off using torrent at the last moment to extend for a couple of more stacks. If your haste is high enough and have Sephuz and mangaza's then you should try popping torrent as soon as rupture goes off. As for MB, it also depends of your leggos and stats. I'm sitting at 43% haste and 41% crit and it allows me to pop MB when i'm close to 30 stacks but i recommend people to start by popping MB at 24-25 stacks and work your way up, specially when you don't have any tier bonuses.

Int just ads raw dmg, with enough haste you can potentially reach higher stacks which translates into a bigger dmg bonus.

I’m lvl 90 it shadow which isn’t no good had to go back to disc. Your video ok if I was lvl 110 no good for us below that . Tiers we don’t have or any of that stuff you mentioned

so many nerfs nothing will help help. you say we can do sky-high damage. yet shadow priests get kicked from groups forming if a DH, DK, Mage, pally or a lock que. your right about haste and crit but nothing will help. even a lvl 80 weapon, legos and a 960ilvl will not help. we have no aoe now and all spells nerfed to the point you might as well reroll. i have been playing shadow since TBC and this is the worst it has ever been! blizzard gm and devs do not main shadow and therefor have no idea wtf is going on. if you want to dps play a blizzard supported class not a shadow.

omfg I boosted this class with my Legion purchase bonus and this class fucking sucks ass I main a warlock and is better in every aspect, o m fg....even carried in +15 and raids in hc this class sucks well, wasted boost is wasted :(, I should have boost a dk ffs
