I bought an assembled SCT 43x frame for my 920p upper and the magazines would not stop falling out no matter what I did. Replaced mag catch, used new Glock mags, etc. I ditched it after was all said and done. I wasn't about to try to the Shield Arms mag release when I was having so many issues right from the start.

sorry to hear that. if you're able to get the shield release and a single s15 gen3 mag for cheap, then i would propose giving it another try

Genuine question. Where do I I get that lower frame for the cr920p ? I don’t want to purchase the new cr920x just to swap out the slide so I can have a longer grip. Can I just purchase that lower by itself brother ?

I recommend keeping the trigger stock on the XP. If you are doing a build with a separate frame, then you have several options from the glock 43 platform

@@SCT43XZPC thanks man, when you swapped out the lower did you also swap out the trigger and mag release button to the CR ones?

@@K.MONTIEL I didn't move over any parts from my CR frame. The lower SCT frame came complete however I did swap out the glock shoe to a vex and the plastic mag catch to shield's metal one. You can still run the plastic one if you run glock factory mags because it will be plastic on plastic. If you decide to run shield then you need to get their metal catch for metal on metal.

@@K.MONTIEL no worries, ask away. It should work. I've installed a CR trigger on a PSA micro dagger frame before so I assume it should work in the SCT. I can't promise anything though

Wait I'm confuse. Isn't that frame the serialized portion of the gun, how are you changing frames? Are these g43x frames? I've got an og CR and would love to swap out for a larger frame

You should educate yourself my guy. Can buy any frame just has to go through ffl I did the same thing sct frame cr920 upper. Very simple you pay for the frame go do your background check and use it with whatever upper you’d like. Very confusing I know 😂😂

Another vote to hear if they run. I have two CR920s that do not. It's really a shame, everything is "right" about these pistols except for the fact that they do not work. :(

its been pretty smooth sailing after the advised break-in period. If you have 2 cr920s that do not work, then i would suggest sending them in to shadow systems. their customer service is on point. good luck

not better or worse, just different due to the stippling texture and grip design. I like them though
