Just bought this on Wednesday. I did have several top feed jams. The guy that sold me the gun, he has one himself he was carrying at the store, said it’s due to how tight their measurement perameters are until it’s broken in. So far it kicks ass though. Hitting 5 inch groups at 25 yards shooting fairly fast.

Yeah they recommend a break in period of 250 rounds. I owned the XR920 Elite and initially had issues with the slide fully going forward when chambering a round (just a smidge bit) so when I would be just hanging out, I'd rack the slide repeatedly to break it in a bit. I've had no issues since.

If the general feedback is they are reliable, then it's a win to me. You get the looks of a custom glock without the malfunctions of one.

Ive been happy with my xr920 elite, paid $733 two years ago. Has run flawless

1100 i paid for the war poet mr920 with halosun on it. If you plan on upgrading a Glock, just skip buying one and get the shadow systems. If your going to stay 100 stock then get the glock. But wait you can get the shadow systems base model mr920 for about the same price.. decisions, decisions

I just got this. Have only owned one other semiauto pistol (I just like my revolvers), so not much to compare it to, but after 100 rounds, no misfeeds or hiccups whatsoever. Still getting used to the grip.

The 1911 grip angle might be more suitable for you rather than the M&P or Glock grip angles that come with it.

I've been 👀 balling 👀 shadow systems pistol for the past 3 weeks. I'm just holding off for them to come out with a full metal pistol. Then I'm going to order one
@deputydang8291 Жыл бұрын
It's not likely because they're based on Glocks, they're literal Glock clones. Plus they have a patented grip angle change thing going on. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a full metal one but I'm still happy with my XR920 Elite.

@deputydang8291 yea. I actually bought a MR920L back in February. I love it. If and when they come out with their 10mm. I'll be buying that one.

@@deputydang8291 I'd love to see them come out with a dubble stack 45acp pistol as well

Every gun has a break in period, Even Glocks. Sometimes manufacturers are not as forthcoming with that info.

If I buy a modern polymer gun and it doesn't run well, I'm selling it. There isn't a break in. Same goes for non custom 1911's or any major production gun these days. Saying it needs a break it just screams a bad firearm. That just me though.

CCw is a brand new thing for us in NJ. So a whole new segment of the market is now in consideration. Long /short. Ended up getting a shadow CR920. It’s a G43x with all the upgrades already in place and done correctly. Shadow Systems is a bargain. But its not for everyone. The entry point is high, but like you say. It all works out in the end bc you’ll end up paying way more for all those”stock” upgrades when you add ‘em all up. So far. I’m satisfied with the investment
@@SVTBansheeman They all have a break in period, even Glocks. Shadow Systems is forthcoming about it, if you expect high quality firearms with high tolerances to not need to be broken in you're being unrealistic. Just run the fucking gun a bit, you should do that anyways before you put faith in a firearm.

1870€ in Europe while a Glock 45 MOS Threaded barrel is exactly 937€ . For the price I don’t think it’s worth it .

So is there no way to put it on safety?
@deputydang8291 Жыл бұрын
No, it's a striker fired higher end Glock clone. Glocks do not have safeties, aside from the trigger safety, which is why they have that.
@unknownone84799 ай бұрын
I believe only Hammer-fired pistols have safety on them, nowadays.
