Ian Flynn wrote the script and he's quite famously known for bringing up obscure, old lore back for relevance. So, to see Emerl backstory in Shadow's backstory is awesome and… not that surprising in hindsight considering it's Ian. But it's so awesome! 😊

in the trailer black doom said "My latest creation" while he sending shadow through time, that makes me think black doom got time powers from his latest creation related to time beside time eater... if he did send shadow back in time to mess with shadow....for shadow seeing gun/flashback....

I never thought that was flesh, It sounds like a jolting set of goggles, or high pitched footsteps (also if you pause at the right time you can see an x eyed face with a grinning smile on the soldiers face

I knew the animators were the same ones from ROTTMNT since the animation was so clear and crispy!! Can’t wait for the animation (and game) to come out!! They’re finally going to show just how strong Maria and Shadow’s friendship was before the…tragedy struck.

It makes sense for doom to mess with his memory. Ironinc consistering on one of the twitter takeovers Shadow said he has dinner with Doom (in a family way) ,I dont know how cannon that is annymore

The animation for this new three part episode prologue series looks absolutely amazing it reminds me of Sonic X series and the scene where Maria hugs Shadow reassuring and telling him that she is happy spending time with him despite that his is unable to cure her of illness was so heartwarming and when he told her to stay behind while he went to comfort Emerl I literally started crying 👍🖤🦔😢
