You guys got two things wrong 1. Amy won against Remona 2. You misunderstood the point of bringing up Sonic's planet fixing feat, let me explain. They brought up the feat of Sonic fixing the planet with the emeralds to determine the power of the *Emeralds* , so they know how much power Shadow is getting from the emeralds. They're *not* saying that's Sonic's power and giving it to Shadow.

Alright so the reason why Death Battle don't reveal some calculations until after the battle is so they don't make the winner too obvious. It would take away all of the expectation feeling.

@@adorns those don't really translate to pure power. and it's also overhyped, solaris is only shown to affect a single universe and his destruction of time is more akin to a termite eating a house than dynamite blowing it up. and they could only move outside time because the interdimensional beings took them there. once that happened it wasn't that they were too fast to be affected, it was that everything else was just stopped. we've even seen the other characters moving in stopped time despite needed to be brought in.

@@adorns aaand you're using scaler wiki terminology. great. okay, solaris destroyed ONE universe, and did so by unravelling it. the entire reason they were able to do anything about it is because solaris could only eat so much at once, he didn't destroy the entire thing. and the sonic cosmology is structured... WEIRD. their timeless void is listed as a natural component of the universe, for example. solaris is universal, at best, and shadow could only weaken him with a team, not match him for power. he didn't and moving in an area where there's no time is NOT a speed feat if you have been removed from the flow of time by outside forces. it's like running in a moving train, you can't match those overall speeds outside the train. if booster gold stops time for everyone except batman, batman is not therefore capable of moving so fast he breaks time. and both shadow and sonic were two of numerous people brought over by the time eater and solaris, he didn't shrug off the time freeze under his own speed. we even see that the only reason sonic wasn't frozen was because chaos emeralds repel the effects of the time eater in his first ingame cutscene.

The only thing they didn't mention was the actual numbers for pulling the planet back together, but doing so being stronger than blowing a whole through a layer of steel-tensile material seems really straightforward.

24:22 That’s called power scaling, it makes perfect sense. Shadow has been shown to be comparable in strength to Sonic. Therefore the power output they have is similar. For example, in RWBY Weiss and Blake would be power scaled to Ruby because Ruby has a feat of dragging a Nevermore up a mountain which is huge, yet Blake and Weiss have no feats anywhere near that (except for Weiss and her ice dust, but that’s not her physical strength). Not even Yang has a feat to match Ruby, but Yang is displayed as being physically stronger. So yeah that’s power scaling and it’s a legit thing.

Before I saw the battle (during the analysis) I was indecisive on who would win since Ryuko clearly had the edge in durability and sheer physical strength (Super Form excluded) and going by DB tradition, the moment the Super Form wears out he gets 1-shot. But then I remembered a bunch of things: Shadow is around 33 times faster and can control time, making him very hard to hit. Shadow may be physically weaker, but his Chaos Powers have demonstrated several times (even if we ignore the comics) that he can do some serious damage, even more so in his Super Form. The guy legit nuked an entire fleet of spaceships in one blow after removing his inhibitor rings in his base form, illuminating the sky with the blast which could be seen from space. While Shadow has a time limit on his Super Form, Ryuko is always on a time limit since her suit uses her blood to both attack, transform and regenerate after being wounded, which means she has more chance of running out of fuel before him. I was still on the fence (after all, DB doesn't like Shadow, we just have to look at the Mewtwo vs Shadow battle) since one fully-powered blow from Ryuko could maybe kill him. But (and they mention it in a little bubble during the post-battle analysis) her own super form would likely run out before Shadow's due to the draining Senketsu always does and since she has no way of knowing, it was a safe bet that her biggest gun would be used against his Super Form, which is basically invulnerable.

For the planet moving feat, they weren't necessarily giving Sonics feat to Shadow. Rather they were saying the chaos emerald itself has that power, which Shadow uses in battle. Think of it as 2 different people wielding the same weapon. It's also worth noting that they said base form Shadow if he removes his inhibitor rings, can have power equal to a single emerald.

I know I copied and pasted this from another video but screw it. The reason why Shadow uses guns even though they don't appear in cutscenes or are canon to the story, it's how the Chaos Spear (first appeared in SA2 Battle) was lost along with his memories and Chaos Control which Eggman reveals in Shadow The Hedgehog during Devil Doom he lost his memories, didn't die because obviously Super Shadow gives him nigh invulnerability as he was still that when he fell from space and during Devil Doom, you dont use guns but Chaos Spear which gives smaller, weaker blue Chaos Spears that fire at rapid speed which makes machine guns pointless.

Sega has insinuated more than once that, as far as Chaos Powers, not only can Shadow do what Sonic does, but probably more. Shadow's a master at manipulating Chaos Control, so if Sonic can move pieces of the planet, why wouldn't Shadow be capable of the same feats? Shadow's powers are linked to the emeralds, remember? And Shadow practically taught Sonic Chaos Control (even if it was indirectly). Ryuko also just had a lot more drawbacks than Shadow did, there was no way she was gonna win.

It's been established a bunch of times that Shadow has much more control over chaos energy than Sonic. Sonic never displayed any chaos abilities aside from using Chaos Control (and even then, it's almost exclusively for teleportation and not for stopping time like Shadow does on the regular) Sonic also needed at least one emerald for that while Shadow can teleport around and use chaos powers without an emerald.

Unless they pull so really obscure sh*t, Just by having magic on his side Dr.Doom is pretty much guaranteed a win. Lex will always have the same problem in DB: His weapons are either based or made of kryptonite, which is meant to fight Kryptonians but only meh against anyone else. His suit can take serious amount of damage and is insanely powerful, but most of it's arsenal is still tailor-made to fight a kryptonian. It's the reason Iron Man won last time XD

People may make fun of Mewtwo Vs Shadow but it’s accurate because of mental hax, more importantly though Mega Mewtwo Y scales above even super shadow massively. Mega Mewtwo X stalemated a bloodlusted Zygarde who in turn was wearing down and would’ve defeated Ultra Necrozma who is a solar system buster at minimum and more likely multi-galactic to Universe level depending on the size of Ultra space and is massively faster than light when scaling to Solgaelo and Lunala Sure Mewtwo stalemated 50% Zygarde but even 50% of Ultra Necrozma would annihilate shadow
