The Gene Bomb was designed to flash fry anyone without the x-gene without affecting the environment around it... which means as far as its effects on Carnage since he's only one person the gene bomb would only be as powerful as the energy it takes to flash fry a single person.. or at most as much energy it would take to flash fry someone with the mass of all the tendrils that venom used to surround it with.

Carnage actually can because a comic that came out before this death battle don't remember what the comic's name so forgive me but he shot his tendrils at mj and aunt may and infected them so they miss that comic or just downplayed carnage and there are a lot of feats they missed and miss understood some of carnage feats so yeah.

Lucy has may weaknesses shown in the manga , that huge explosion she did? in the manga it is shown that she needs to concentrate very hard to do that and also shown in the manga lucy almost died using that explosion power of hers , and another weakness death battle removed from lucy that wouldve given the win to carnage 100% is that it is shown in the manga her vectors have weaknesses , they cant properly multitask especially if lucy or any others like her dont concentrate , heck she coudnt even dodge bullets when she coudnt see them and she has been shot multipler times , carnage? bcuz of venom bonding with spiderman venom got the spider sense but much better and since the children of symbiotes inherit their parents powers but even stronger carnage has one of the most powerful spidersenses , welp except for his own son toxin who is even more powerful than him , carnage can sense danger from any direction CARNAGE IS THE KING OF MULTITASKING , carnage can dodge multiple bullets at point blank range even when he isnt looking bcuz his super spider sense can sense the danger from any nook and cranny ,heck lucys vectors were dodged by normal police officers , lucy has so many weaknesses that would turn the tide of battle in carnages favor , one thing i also want to say , kletus cassady was a monster , even at a young age all he could think was murdering people , he was a psycopath he had lots of knowledge in his art of murdering people , the carnage symbiote just made him even more dangerous , i saw a comment in support of lucy saying that cletus was a man pretending to be a monster and lucy was a monster pretending to be human , like wtf? are you an idiot? i suggest you start reading your manga that shows clearly so many of lucys weaknesses that would again give the win 100% to carnage and read the comics that shows many of carnages feats , and where did death battle get the carnage cant infect others using projectiles? like wtf again yes he can you should read Carnage USA or fuckin Absolute Carnage , and also carnage is not weak to fire , it only is a small bother to him but fire wont kill him , again symbiotes children are stronger than their parents , thats why toxin is now immune to fire , its not toxins major weakness and has been outright removed , venom may have been weak to fire , but carnage can take the damaged , and again , something to point out in the animation , carnage isnt an idiot , he may be a loose cannon , but when he realizes that his attacks arent working to kill his opponents , he will resort to other methods , theres so many more shit that death battle messed up on , but to this day they ahve never once responded to the criticism , i would be okay with that if they would say at the beginning or at the end that all of this is just their calculations and they may be wrong and people shoudnt take it seriously , but no , even in their description they say death battle is the masters of edutainment , like excuse me? you that master of "education" and "entertainment"? YOU GUYS SPREAD MISINFORMATION ABOUT PEOPLES BELOVED CHARACTERS , it wouldve been better if you didnt touch these characters cuz you dont do them justice , all you do is buff the character you like and nerf the character you hate , and dont even get me started with your "research" , very disappointing death battle , very dissapointing , this is why death battle sucks..

These characters really had no business being matched up. They're nothing alike other than murdering people. Screw Attack's excuse was simply wanting to use each of them badly and having no good opponents.

Animation was enjoyable, but the stats were WAY off.
