Yeah I think one of the reasons certainly in the UK was the use of the word "Ninja". Same reason that "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was called "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" in the UK!! The BBFC were pretty strict back then. Even heard that they cut a scene from a film of two people just walking along just because there was a poster of Bruce Lee holding chain sticks in the background!!!
@LordBrimstone16 жыл бұрын
If that is the case, then I wonder how the big "NINJA in USA" text at the 0:48 mark got past the censors? Edit: Also Ninja at the 28:04 mark
@brainimp6 жыл бұрын
@@LordBrimstone1 Ninja was never banned, it was just its use in marketing material to children, there was many games with Ninja in the title like Dragon Ninja and The Ninja on MS to name a couple, people over play the whole ban thing, but the only objection was using it in Kids TV/Movies and it didn't last long and was very inconsistently enforced any way because there was Movies like 3 Ninja Kids certified a PG then U around the same time. I dont even think the name of this game was changed because Ninja as it had a different Name in each region, just like many other games from Japan at the time that had nothing to do with Ninjas and this was released a few years before the TNMT scandal so im guessing Ninja had zero to do with the name change just people like to think it did
@SergipeCycling4 жыл бұрын

Why does it feel like Round 4 and Round 5 should be the other way around? The big cave entrance at the end of round 4 suggests that the start of the final level, but you just end up on a railway track? Doesn't make sense.
@nebularain33383 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too. Would have made much more sense to go from the Casino (which is presumably in the middle of the desert) to the train tracks, and from there head to the Grand Canyon.
