@@EmberGT3 Nothing to do with friendship in the end. WoL and the Ghost where original one person and got splitted. So absorbing the Ghost strengthened of WoLs soul and put him closer to the person he once was. That way he was able to withstand the transformation of his soul from the light he absorbed. If WoL would do that with every fragment of his soul, he would be at the same strength as the ascians back then.

It's mostly what he tells you, is it not?! Hydaelyn didn't really "create" anything as much as you don't "create" tiny knives when you break a vase; also from Emet's point of view those "lives" sacrificed weren't even properly alive so it wasn't as much of a sacrifice for him and more like a trade that would give him everything back if he gave *it* even more. It's not much that Hydaelyn lied to everyone but that everyone lied to themselves and considered her a god, the same way previous antagonistic villains do in previous expansions turning themselves into gods but less powerful (they're not primals), granted I didn't finish Endwalker so feel free to correct me Also there's that whole thing of Hades having his memory erased and all that jazz that I absolutely avoided reading about in the wiki bc I don't wanna have spoilers so... There's that??? Again, correct me, I may be wrong
