Super late watching this but congrats on reaching 100 podcast episodes! I'm really REALLY happy the Yakuza/Like A Dragon games got English cause I started with 0 and then played the rest after this but to me those games were seriously missing an English Dub for me to REALLY enjoy as a big English Dub fan so when 7 got one I was SO happy and now that Kiryu, someone who wished to hear him in English in his previous games, to have one I was so happy. So yeah, like with Q, I like Yong as Kiryu and don't have a problem with it at all after after playing cause of course greatly prefer English Dubs over the Japanese voices in pretty much any media no matter what and it gets me pulled into the game seriously. So Yong gets A LOT of hate for no reason, especially from people who won't play the dub at all which is crazy. I'm glad he got his dream role and I'm totally fine with it. If that means I'm crazy or whatever, I don't care. I'm having fun with the Dub cast and that's all that matters to me at the end of the day. I'm actually surprised none of you noticed/mentioned how Yong voiced the GOAT Arios in Trails Into Reverie. I liked him a lot in the role and one other reason why I wish the Crossbell games were dubbed. Well, at least the battle lines like in the Sky games. Sniff, maybe in the future if Falcom makes a remake of them. Oh yeah, I played Persona 5 Tactica and while not my most favorite I still liked it and really liked the story so I don't get the hate for it. It even had something in the game that intrigued me character wise and would be cool if it showed up again in a future game. I love chibi style so I liked it that they went. It's mostly the gameplay which isn't what I usually play but it was fine. Games I'm looking forward to this year are some that already released like Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, Granblue Fantasy Relink, Persona 3 Reload, FF7 Rebirth, and my personal GOTY, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak! Got that baby's LE for my Switch already paid for so all I gotta do is wait for that baby. Can never get enough Trails, except maybe Sky 3rd. That one is the only one I can do without lol

Oh geez, congrats on reaching episode 100. A lot of podcasts don't even reach that kind of episode count. I wish I was more frequent with listening to the podcast but depression has been kind of kicking my ass for a while. Kind of hard to keep up with stuff when you just don't have any motivation to do much of anything. Well, besides drowning myself in gaming as a distraction anyway. 38:45 ("Disgaea 7" Jumbofication) Funnily, the last Carnage stage does that. You fight the carnage boss and when you defeat them, they jumbofy and you have to defeat them a second time in the same stage. I forgot to check all of their Evilities so when it happened, it really caught me off guard. Was kind of annoying in a way since it lead to an immediate game over but after 30-ish minutes sorting out a new set up, I managed to one turn clear it. Which is kind of funny since I only had a single high stat character but I guess that just goes to show how busted Evilities and skills are in this game. But yeah, overall, sounds like I share similar sentiments regarding "Disgaea 7". I guess I'll spew out more thoughts when your video on it releases. 1:58:45 ("...looks like a budget NIS studios...") Dang, Tarks...ouch. My favorite developer getting nothing but disrespect. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. 2:11:45 ("Neptunia") Essentially I suppose. Mainline: "HDN", "MK2", "Victory", "V-II" (one more confirmed in development) Remakes/Remasters/Enhanced Ports: "Re;Birth1", "Re;Birth1+", "ReVerse", "Re;Birth2", "Re;Birth3", "V-IIR" The first game got 1 remake (PSVita), 1 enhanced ports (PS4), and 1 remaster (PS5). Everything else got a single remaster each, (2 on PSVita and 1 PSVR). 2:24:10 NISA, not NIS. NISA are the ones translating and publishing those games. NIS has basically nothing to do with them since they are located in Japan.

if you want the voice mod on your steam deck i just copied the files onto a external drive from my main pc and pasted them on the steam deck and it worked

Nothing is affecting me but I find the whole discourse on Yong Yea stupid when most people I know don't play the games with English dub and it just feels wrong IMHO

@@ShadowKing1982 So what's the point? If it doesn't affect you then why bring it up? Some people like sub and some like dub. Why does it matter if both parties are enjoying it?

Last few games I tried to play the game in English just to try it out (Judgment and Like a Dragon 7). It was all messed up as random characters would start speaking Japanese in the middle of the English dub. I switched it back to Japanese like I usually do. It just seems natural to play it in Japanese.

The Anazing Spider-man runs for comics have been pretty bad for a few years. M&M just lacks identity in his comics. There better. But run of the mil stories. He should have been left in the Ultimate verse. Marvel sucks at the moment.
