This series requires a lot more publicity. Great narration and really highlights the huge amount of effort to craft the rich world of WoW. Awesome storytelling Shuppzy.

Shadowfang keep has always been my favorite dungeon. My only wish is that they left Pyrewood and the Keep still controled by the worgen and humans instead of undead. I like the fact that they continued the story of the keep "The new evil crept in" and so on. I just miss my worgen dungeon. I wish they would let us still go inside old dungeons. Maybe without loot but we could still go there via some npc like the scenarios or lfr legacy raids.

That's a good point! I hadn't really considered the Scourge presence as a 'new evil' thing and I was operating more on them just being there for the sake of having a variety of filler enemies.

Now that I think about it... During Wrath, Arthas sent some of the San'layn princes to raise Arugal and bring him into Grizzly Hills to spread his worgen there in service to scourge. There is even a questline where you can see it happening in a vision. Maybe the undead are some of the forces left behind by the princes?

Hey Shupz, it's Mutterscrawl from Scrolls of Lore, really liked the video, I'd never taken time to appreciate the natural lighting in the roofing there for that last fight, thanks for exploring that and the other details in the dungeon. I do wish Blizz would do more faction-split questgivers in dungeons, but sadly they've moved away from the factions :(

Hey! Firstly thank you very much, and yeah it's those little details and clever tricks that I love getting into more than anything. I guess I've always been one to miss the forest for the trees but it seems people are ok with that, which is great for me. On the faction thing, there was a big rise in factional dungeon quests around Cataclysm but has since dropped off heavily. I think it's part of Blizzard's reluctance to develop non-primary story lines. What I mean by that is we got a lot of innovation in faction storytelling through Cataclysm leading in to MoP and then it was almost completely forgotten about post Siege to start slowly laying the groundwork for the Gul'dan/Legion arc. I understand the practicality of working on current or upcoming story lines as a priority but with a story world as large as Warcraft's too many dangling plot threads and half-realised narratives can leave the whole thing feeling weaker overall. It's why I think they really need to embrace the short stories and external media more to keep those stories simmering along without having to devote massive development resources to them.

It was nice to see a new one of these in my subscriptions! I'm always eager to watch more of this series. Another great video, exploring a long time favourite dungeon of mine. Insightful as always. I'm assuming your goal at the moment is to progress through all the vanilla dungeons, just curious, after that would you be moving through the expansions? If youre not too tired of wow after that lol.

Sjoll That's very much the plan, and I've considered doing an episode on the Dark Portal(s) as a sort of season finale to lead into BC. That said I'm still terrified by the prospect of doing BRD, LBRS and UBRS. I love all of them but the scope of them is just so immense.

Shuppzy haha yeah, best of luck for those dungeons, theyre huge. Maybe multiple vidoes for them? or maybe that would that split it up too much idk. Either way I look forward to seeing your take on the rest of the dungeons that vanilla has to offer.
