John staats the designer of brd mentioned in an interview there was going to be another dungeon behind the gate of baelgar. However brd already had too much going on that they decided to scrap the idea

Great video as always. I think that BRD has not aged that well in the quality of models compared to Blackwing descend, and such, even with being dwarven and blocky, it sometimes look like a dungeon from Legend of Zelda. It is a shame that the new Emperor of Dark Irons and Bronzebeards has not yet been introduced to the game even with DI recruitement. I hoped to see the entire BRD open to exploration and filled with npc's instead of just the central part. Shame, but what can you do. It would have been nice to have young Dagran and his mom in the throne room.

Thanks! And I agree with you by and large that BRD is showing it's age quite a bit. It's still very capable of looking super impressive at times in my opinion such as with the hallway leading to the Black Anvil but that's more about art direction than graphical fidelity and incredible art direction has always been one of Blizzard's strongest assets. I agree it would be cool to see Dagran in game but the chance to do so with Allied race scenario has arguably passed. Some sort of time skip or quest line set in the future could be a cool way to give him something to do.
