I think Dom and Kat did an amazing job with this scene, but the way it was edited made it all weird. Like I don't think it was supposed to take him that long to run to her, but since Matt and Isaiah weren't actually in Paris there was a delay while they were filming to account for what they were supposed to do. If the editor hadn't made it so choppy and transitioned in Alec and Luke better, i feel like this scene would have been a 10/10.

To be honest i was traumatized for months when i heard shadowhunters was cancelled, but i realise that its a good thing and wont get dragged on and on like series like arrow, it was really good but its been dragged out for 7 season, and is so dead. So shadowhunters will stay a short amazing show that will never get boring.

Freya Ewart I agree they seem to be rushing through the scenes, Luke and Alec ran straight past her and like stood there even though they knew that Jonathan was gone. They could have been helping her. When Clary got healed she immediately got up, in the books I’m pretty sure they mentioned that after using an iratze they would be a bit stiff when moving about but in this scene she just jumps up as if nothing happened. I’m still happy they finally got reunited though.

I think after the bonding there is a little bit of evil and Clary and there’s also a little bit of good and Jonathan it’ll be interesting to see how those actors and the chemistry is developed on the season but I don’t think I’ve ever want Clary to go out and be evil but with in saying that I do think that Claro should be a little bit more mad that Jonathan did throw her off the roof granted that he was being controlled at the time But still there just kinda reminds me of stock home syndrome

i hear you. tbh, dom is so awkward and distant with kat in real life - so when they do scenes in the actual show, it looks so uncomfortable. both their acting is pretty good, just not with each other. i feel like their best acting with each other was when clary was dating simon, since he successfully portrayed jealousy and the tension that led up to the seelie kiss was fine. but tbh the show itself has incredibly bad dialogue so like, there's so much awkwardness in the end lol.

Exactly, that is something I wondered, but in 11 it was mentioned that Magnus wards feel because he lost his magic and I believe that in 7 or 8 when they are trying to make that antidote that his magic was strong and had taken hold, so when Magnus traded his magic did that magic that was in the anti-love potion lose it’s powers? Although I can only guess that might be the case because if you remember at the end of 10 Jace says “I am going to get Clary?” It is mostly said with the fact that he still loves her and that’s why it affects him more in 11. Although this scene doesn’t surprise me and I don’t worry to much because I love Jace and Clary.
