The guy who plays Magnus does a really good job. He has to play a dramatic guy getting hurt but not showing any real emotion, while at the same time trying to que the audience in to what he's really feeling, but also trying to seem aloof and unbothered. Its a hard gig, but I think (from what I see in the comments) he does it well.

You know what hurts the most here?? Magnus KNEW that he was talking about his marriage to a WOMAN before he even clarified that it is with Lydia. After all, just a few minutes ago Izzy told him that their mother was looking for a bride for Alec. But Magnus still played the flirty coy act of his even though he felt that sharp hurt and disappointment. It almost feels like he was desperate for Alec to joke with him and say “no I’m not getting married”. And Harry is such an amazing actor that you can see the hope in his eyes the first few seconds when they’re talking and then that pain after Alec says that he’s getting married.
