I second Odachi being worth building out. Took the clan quest to kill ice golem with all Shadowkin champions and failed miserably until I maxed out Odachi and put Ninja in regen gear. Odachi in a reflex+immortal gear set combo and warmaster mastery did nearly as much damage as Ninja, and blocked the debuffs from the ice golem adds very well.

Good information in the video. So far Shadowkin is a shadow of a shadow. I built Ninja up to 6 60 with all 4-6 star 16 artifacts and accessories. Really looking for 6 star speed boots to replace the 4 star level 16 speed boots. Speed right now would go from 171 to 186 because I booked his stats in masteries. Artifacts: 2 perception sets 1 Divine Life set that has crit rate 60% Looking to get a crit damage amulet Overall an ass-kicker in Clan Boss, Doom Tower, Tag Team Arena and Faction Crypts. Good for campaigns and dungeons. M'shalled is another one of the big guns. I have him dying in first round of every Classic Arena, then he gets revived by Scyl O. T. Drakes and by the end he is the only one left standing and he's taking down the other side. He has done same in Doom Tower Bosses. Working to at least get a team together of Shadowkin for Faction Crypts.

I maxed out Oboro and her steal all buffs on the A2, helped me a bunch starting out in magic keep and arena. It's a bummer that it's conditional on being under perfect veil, but it can boost her damage and survivability a lot. Awesome video Ash!

I feel people are sleeping on Lifetaker and on Assassin. Lifetaker has a 30% (40 when booked) 2 hit A1 with a 100% Heal Reduction. She has a 3 hit 4 turn (3 Turn when booked) A2. Each hit has a 50% chance (75% when booked) of decreasing the target's Turn Meter by 10%. Third hit has a 50% chance (75% when booked) of placing 30% Decrease Speed debuff for 2 turns. She's good for Fire Knight. Then Assassin. He's got a 10% Speed Aura, which is great if you don't have one other than High Khatun. His A1 does has a 50% chance (75% booked) applying a 5% poison. A2 has a 50% chance (75% booked) to increase all debuffs on the enemy by 1 turn. His A3 has a 75% chance (100% booked) to apply a 15% weaken. This guy could help Clan Boss.

y'all need to really revisit Gory. everyone's issues with Gory was always the conditional aspects of his kit that required targets to be under freeze, and then they gave everyone ninja for free which is a 100% AoE freeze within this faction. Gory is going to be a cleanup specialist when paired with ninja, especially for faction wars when it drops.

I feel like Hotatsu easily deserves to be an A tier champion (regardless of rarity). He is probably the guy you want to bring if you want to keep your team alive; he has increase defense, decrease attack, leech and continuous heal and an aura that works everywhere. The only other defensive thing he doesn't have is Strengthen when it comes to mitigation but few champions have that anyway. If I got him before my rather extensive roster, I would have definitely built him out without hesitation - I'd say there are very few champions that not only helps reduce the damage your team takes but also heals them.

Hotatsu is almost always my lead on DT waves. on top of being an incredible defensive champion, he hits like a truck with that a2. his passive also helps keep him alive and is really underrated.

For FW I intend to use Gory as a glass cannon who pairs well with Ninja's freeze and gets revived by Sachi. It the fears from that revive seem useful, I might build out Nobel and see if that's a good ticket to victory.

I really like Oboro - she was among the first Epics I ever pulled, and because I already had Stag Knight (my FIRST Epic ever) and pulled Bad el Kazar around the same time period (my first LEGO ever), I was able to exploit the crap out of her A1 in Arena. Stag would drop INC ATK & DEF, then BeK would drop two poisons, and if even one opponent got all four debuffs, that was enough for me to target them and make Oboro's AoE kick in. The only reason I don't use her in Classic Arena anymore is because I whaled for Genbo during his 10x event, and LAWD does he chew through PvP. She is still the cornerstone of one of my 3v3 teams, though. :) On top of that, her A2 is an amazing game saver on Auto runs when there are Unkillable or Block Damage champs in the waves, and you bring too much turn meter control with you (for the boss) to ever let that one last champ have a turn. She always does her A3 first to put her Veil up, which activates the second ability of her A2, and then she steals every buff the target has with it.

@@127srinivas.k.l7 You just have to have patience. Unless you want to throw a whole lot of money down the tubes, this is not a game meant for instant satisfaction. Luck only gets you so far. Play with the champs you have, and only pull expensive shards during 2x events. :)

You skipped past Sachi's resurrection. I don't have her, but I've had the tables turned on me in arenas by her a few times just by her killing one of my guys and then passively resurrecting one of hers plus putting fear on my group when she does it. It's like a 3 for 1 deal. So if I go in it's 3 to 1 and I'm almost done with the fight, but she hangs on, she kills one of my guys and rezzes, makes it 2 to 2, and then fears my group giving her the go ahead on another turn.

Lifetaker is a good early game FTP team filler for fire knight while you're still assembling your roster. Both active skills are multi hits, + a reflect damage and heal reduction.

Oboro has been my hands down favorite epic from the Shadowkin Faction. Her skills with miscreated monster, blind seer and roshcard the tower together are by far beautiful and consitent. I run this team in just about anything. i do switch blind seer in and out though for high katun, or my gala longbraids. Depending on situation.

I love Toragi, the biggest issue is I can't use him and Draco at the same time for CB because they put so many poisons on that other debuffs get blocked. So I ended up swapping in Rotos to pair with him.

Use the rare sickle chick, in fire knight. Works pretty good and you get the added benefit of sounding like you just took down a AT-AT on Hoth. I ended up building two and the booked 5s does surprisingly well in life drinker, speed. The only downfall is the turn she does nothing but veil herself. (Must be on Cool down)

Genzin will be god tier in Faction Wars since he's the only AoE Dec Def in the faction. If you don't have him the waves are going to be really painful. Sachi as well, all attack a1 perfect for stun set and only reviver.

I am SO glad I finally have a champion (Scyl of the Drakes) that is featured in all of Ash's videos on at least ONE account it feels really weird to finally be able to use her got her to lv 40 so far will be raising her further. She seems to be missing the "Boundless life" feature but I've yet to entirely explore the champion I have a strong suspicion it might involve ascending her or a mastery. For Shadowkin my most prized is Toragi the frog rank 1, Burangiri rank 2 and rank 3 is Ninja in that order.

I use Fenshi for Clan-Boss. He did unbooked more damage than my nearly fully booked Kael AND Kael's equip was better. (1/4 - 1/2 of Ninja's damage) I'm running Fenshi in Toxic to buff his A3 even further. His survivability is an issue... he dies first everytime. Currently I'm booking him and got new equip from the Dragon for the Tourney, so he will be even better.

@@komordian5803 people get caught up in her shield removal and miss the point that the cooldown for her A3 resets when she kills 4 mobs. It's perfect for campaign farming - she goes in, A3 - dead - A3 - dead - A3 - dead - done. She's not a speed runner due to the length of the animation, but she's much easier to gear up than Saurus and much quicker than Relic Keeper. She has neutral affinity matchup in 12-3, so while it could be better she's fine. well worth the investment.

First I have to say it's a shame this review hadn't been out earlier. I went stupid crazy on all the lower level players, booked and leveled them up to 4*, not to 6*, but still. Now I have Ninja 6* and Odachi 5* and both is awesome. Ninja is a little squishy still which I'm trying to figure out. Odachi was great in campaign paired with Elhain. I took the both all the way from Normal through Brutal and they just killed it. Now I just have to figure out how to get some of those good players you mentioned. Thanks for your insights. And yes I did get the reference to Burangiri. LOL

Also on that same skill, she one of the even rare for back then, champions with cool down -1 sandwiched between damage up skills books . Plus peydma takes all buffs guaranteed as long as not resisted....then goes on a 3 turn (5 turn if unbooked) Genbo it's his A1 and only has a chance to steal per hit (it hits twice) plus best part about him (and this is just me guessing, if there's lore on him I've never seen or heard it but I may go looking). Is that he is the dishonoured, because by the look of his chopped off wings....he could be a fallen angel. And some would say you don't get more dishonoured than that lol

I use Fenshi in Clan Boss fights, he brought me from 6 mil to 8-9 mil on brutal mode. And hes not built out yet. Level 12 gear, and not many books. I cant imagine what he ll do booked and geared out. He was a game changer for me. Fenshi.

Chonoru is a campaign farming beast ash. You have to revisit. Stat threshold is very low too I was at about 4500 attack 210 CD and felt I could go lower.

Problem with adding new champions is that Plarium does not increase the base chance of pulling them from shards. Therefore our chance of getting any particular Champ goes down.

What's up Ash. Could you please do something about the mechanics of HP Burn and explain what it does and how it works? No KZbinr has spoken about it. To me it just looks like Poison with aesthetic differences.

When poison hits it only hits the target. HP burn goes off and damages everyone. It is a MUST have in the higher Spider levels. Also, HP burn does a little more dmg to the target but you can only have 1 HP burn debuff on at a time.

Idk if this helps but what the hey. So one thing you will notice is that there can only be one HP burn on a target at a time, while poison is stackable. Also HP burn decreases in effectiveness against the clan boss the higher the difficulty (it gets capped). It only does 3% max HP damage but it effects ALL units on the team. So if the entire enemy team has HP burn and one poison debuff then they will take more damage from burn then poison because they will take damage not just from their own burn but their allies burns as well.

Yea AOE hp burn is THE BEST WAY to kill spider 15+ (if you don't have double Coldheart or something like that) and it becomes a MASSIVE help in doomtower as well. Very strong stuff, don't sleep on it

Vagabond has 6xatk multiplier, he's actually very good as well as being scary. and Maurader is quite good as well, looks trash on paper but using him he surprised me - i built two now. I attempted FK21 with all rare shadowkin elite quest and Maurader was the star of the show - needed lifetaker for the multi hits but he was key to keeping her up and actually did a surprising amount of damage on his aoe.

Conscript has a 6.5 A2 smack I've taken to 4 star and he destroys at low-mid level. 1 hit kills. If you have the resources, for even faction wars, he's viable. Maybe only there.

Am I going to the movies? I have been to 13 in the past 3 months, 4 of those in the last 2 weeks. Almost every showing was empty, so go enjoy them. Don't allow movie theaters with thier 50'-100' foot screens and unparalled surround sound disappear because you want to stream it on a pansy 55" TV with a soundbar at home. I kind of like Marauder. A1 25% stun, A2 is AOE Dec atk, and he hits pretty hard for an HP champ. He has provoke as well, but it places a shield on him to go with it directly, which in better than Odachi in my opinion. It also throws a reflect damage up, making a possible FK champ on top of it. 21k Base HP. Only downside is that the % landing is 100, but he is a rare after all, they can't ALL be Warmaiden.

While I haven't tried her, I think Chonorou would work as a campaign farmer, her multipliers aren't the worst and neither is her attack when compared to a lot of other campaign farmers. The cooldown of her A3 decreases by 1 turn for each enemy killed by it, which should allow her to do it every round. I haven't tried her, so I can't confirm it, but on paper she doesn't sound that bad. Maybe niche at best. That said, there are cheaper and easier farmers out there.

Sachis one of my most used epics in the game she’s sooooo good. My resistance gear is junk so the decrease accuracy keeps debuffs off me, the -crit keeps bad RNG off my champs, leech heals. Increase attack and TM. She is so underrated.

bunigiri is doing wonders for me with his, vogoths and sun wu kongs passives, with a cheeky runic warder thrown in because he just keeps working. he doesnt be sheep, and punches wukong hard along with alot of other ppl. my 1st 5 purple star champ, and i think im going to take him further.

I built up genzhin, did not regret at all, he just cleared 12-7 NM in 2minutes for the shard, he's on my fast FK20 team and 3v3s team. 10/10 would build out.

Ashe, question: Is Riho Bonespear better than Duchess Lilitu? Because I keep reading their specs and convincing myself she is, yet a bunch of peopler argued I am incorrect. You have both(I am assuming), which do you use more?

Theaters have been dead for all the movies I have seen as well. They space the seating out as well and still maybe 20 people per theater. I am loving it!

Marauder is a great rare. Look at that hp…I put him in a shield set and he helped me clear spirit rare hard doom tower secret rooms. Way harder content than fw waves there

Hi there . Did anyone noticed how Ninja(boy) when killed in arena , flies back behind everyone like piece of paper , while every other champion falls down very close to where they were originally staying before killed ? sorry if you already mentioned this , I didn't see it .... for me that blue haired kid is aesthetically the worst looking character(not champion) in the game , like if you put that pinky power ranger to fight alongside Bruce Willis in Die Hard . Am I evil ? Should Ninjas look more Ninjous ?

To be fair, Genbo gets defenstrated too when he dies. He also looks like he's probably all dessicated monk muscle under his clothes, so in my mind it makes sense. :) And yeah - they botched the merge on Ninja's face. It's like they farmed it out to one of the devs' middle school kids for a beginner Photoshop project.

I've used Fenshi in CB while still at level 50 and he works well although he is usually the first to die. Needs a good healer/ resurrector to work. Used him with Frozen Banshee. Will probably take him to 6 stars eventually.

I took my daughter to see Paw Patrol. It was her first time at the movies and it was a good time for both of us 😊 And because of the pandemic it was just us and a couple of others there. 👍

I'm doing 18m with Harima in my UNM slow unkillable clan boss (she ties with Corvis for max damage). Just pulled Jintoro, and I don't have a dedicated (full time) decrease defense champ (only Fahrakin the Fat who is unreliable, even fully booked)...so I'm really, really, really kind of torn here whether to build him and replace her. I'm also wondering if he's good enough, if I can simply replace Corvis, as I have no use for decrease attack (unkillable) or his passive damage mitigation...while his full time decrease defense will help my Helicath, Harima, Nia, and Fahrakin do more overall damage. Bleh.

I built Genzin out and he hits really hard but he can't be speed tuned for anything.. I've noticed one wave he'll go third and the next wave he goes first. It's weird.

ill argue with you aon two of the rares vagabond and lifetaker are fairly solid lifetaker for fire knight and vagabond for a general buffer like they arent god tier but i think they are pretty solid

I think you underestimate Vagabond a bit, atleast for faction wars he will have a place since he is the only real turnmeter fill champ in the whole faction aside from Sachi

Lifetaker, that rare you didn't like lol. I built her up to 50 and booked her while progressing in the game. Best decision I've ever made. She's not worth pushing past 50. I threw her in perception gear and retaliation set and she because crucial for progress in fire knight before I was able to get cold heart. Her turn meter manipulation is very strong, and her a1 applying heal reduction comes in handy when you can't quite keep the fk turn meter down. Unfortunately she's weak affinity for 20. If she was force, void, of spirit affinity I would actually take her to 60 because the amount her a2 actually does is impressive.

I worked at a couple theaters for about 20 combined years. I would never willingly set foot in a theatre again, or at least not as a paying customer. :)

people are sleeping on Chonoru as a farmer. I was vaulting her for months while at the same time praying to get a bellower or fellhound. pulled the trigger on getting her to 60 and she does 12.3 in 8 seconds on PC and 9-10 sec on mobile. not crazy fast like fellhound but way better than most campaign farmers. she also has insanely high base Attack which means that even with only level 2 masteries, crap gear, 5 star ascension (no banner) and with zero books, she gets the job done.

I took Chonuru to 60 as soon as I got her (soon after her release). I was greatly disappointed. One of those I will regret. Should have done apothecary instead.

Ash we have to agree to disagree with you thoughts on Chonoru! Put her in a Reflex Set and watch her do work. She literally kills waves and constantly smacking with Lay Bare! You are sleeping on her..lol

Chonoru is better than you say, sir. I built her out (no books) and she is fun for waves. Are there better? Absolutely. But I think she will be a solid FW choice.

Burangiri might help out in an Area or two Oh Burangiri is a LOT more than he appears he is a TERROR in Arena especially vs the usual suspects he DESTROYS in Doom Tower in most Areas and his strengthen works wonders when combined with Toragi has well.
