The biggest problem with demo that I don’t hear enough people complaining about is that after getting 4+ separate pets out, pets get removed or pushed back into the void. Blizzard is using a totem pet tracker for demonology which is just silly. Fix this issue and then maybe think of adding some cool horde of pets talents or something and make the king of demon summoning fit that role

Great video as always. It made me wish there was a no-cooldown glacial spike style talent where you could sacrifice 5+ imps at a time to summon a doomguard. Creating big hordes and using them as fuel for a summoning ritual seems very thematic.

Demonology suggestions: Baseline for the Spec: *Demonic Knowledge (Passive): your demons receive specific upgrades or abilities, Felguard receives less upgrades than the others. *Demonic Empowerment becomes baseline, works with all your demons. *Shadowbolt replaced with Bolt of Hatred (red lightning); upon hit transfers a part of your life immediatly to your demon, deals fairly decent damage and increases the damage of your main demon by 10%, while also granting it 30 points of energy, this effect stacks up to 5 times. You gain 1 soul shard. *Drain Life replaced with Finger of Pain (red lightning ray), instant cast, 4.5 seconds CD, reduced with haste: burst the target for the same damage drain life woul deal over it's duration healing you by a 500% of the damage dealt. It's damage is increased by the stacks of suffering on your demon. *Health Funnel replaced with Chaos Funnel: channel to sacrifice life to heal your demon, further increases it's damage by 50% for the channeling duration and deals damage equal to your life lost in an AoE arround your demon. Talents: *1 Fist of Sargeras: replaces hand of Gul'Dan (Talent), calls a giant demonic fist from a portal above the area to punch down, taking down targets and dealing massive damage. Cost 3 soul shards always, doesn't summon any demons. Bilescourge Bombarders: replaces hand of Gul'Dan, the more soul shards it consumes, the longer it lasts upon the area, each time you use it a Bilescourge demon stays to fight, they have an increased chance to daze targets on hit. Trickster Soul: Hand of Gul'Dan deals 10% extra damage, also it can only consume up to 2 soul shards, but summons one extra Imp always. *2 *Doom: upon killing a target with Doom you gain a Demonic Figurine item, which is consumed when you use Demonic Tyrant, you instead summon a Doom Guard. *Firestone: replaces your Healthstone with a Firestone, which has increased healing and when used burns nearby enemies. Enemies burned by Firestone take extra % damage and have an increased chance to receive crits from you and your demons. *Spellstone: replaces your Healthstone with an Spellstone, which has increased healing and when used it increases your haste for a short duration, grants you 3 soul shards and restores 100 energy to your demon. There, Demonology fixed for you. Some other fixes could be made, tho, but I think this would make the spec fun, viable and competitive in DPS and versatility.

I think a lot of demos problems would be solved if we had Superior permanent pets built into our kit, like a permanent Pitlord, then surrounding abilities to empower them and fight. Like the puppet master of Warlocks. Also may be really awesome to have an ability like "One with the Demon" Where you can become one of your demons and have your abilities altered, whilst controlling another

A lot of people are suggesting for demo locks to become the tyrant. Tbh I like the way it plays, I think they just need to tune up the numbers and buff the Nether Portal talent, because Demonic consumption is just bleh imo but NP truly gives you that demonology lock feeling

The fun fact about this is that people who don't know that the spec exist and look at us at the same lvl as destro and afflic is sad, because even if you achieve to do more damage than them they will reject us because we are demono... As demono player since Pandaria i laugh at destro and afflic players, people that plays these spec thinks they are good playing their locks, demos player comes out, respec fast whle having no gear for the spec out damage the player thta actually plays destro or afflic and after return to demono and get forgotten, real locks mains are demonos. There is 0 skill playing destro or afflic and if you guys look the pvp section for a sec its more than ever outrageous. BTW: Doom should applies curses when cast and summon an op demon like jaraxus, mal ganis or kil jaeden with different buffs for each of them when the spell do damage.

Or they could just tune up the numbers for demo. Nether Portal should honestly be buffed so we could be at equal standing with the two other specs in terms of dps, because demo is such a hard, but fun and rewarding spec to play, if only it could receive a meaningful buff

just... make Havoc demon hunter with summoning abilities into the new demonology spec and add Vengeance as the warlock tank spec. Legion is over.

So, i worked years ago on a privat server for Wotlk as Lead-Tester. Its so damn easy....just make glyphs Blizzard. Hunter get 200+ Pets? and warlocks not even Glyphs?. there is no need for DAYS to making this. This is a typical trainee job. there is not a single warlock that says = no i dont want that...

I wonder why the devs don't give demonology a wider selection of pet tier demons, instead of a horde of tiny imps let each pet be good for different situations.

Did hunters get the increased pet revival cast time? Warlock pets are already garbage compared to hunter pets.
