I can't shake the thought of Shadow's VA from SA2 for Rutger and Diecks being Knuckles' VA from SA2 as well. something about their voices just fit these two.

Does that mean Rutger killed Dieck after that support talk? Or did he only said "I'm sorry" because Rutger didn't want to fight along Dieck all for his feelings?

That "Im sorry" probably was for being a douche and trying to kill him all the time. In his ending dieck only goes to do what he wants to.

If I interpreted that right, that just utterly blew my mind. Dieck's backstory is that he was an Etrurian pit fighter and his last battle in the arena went awry, so Klein an Etrurian noble (and Clarine's brother) was watching and stopped the fight to spare Dieck's life. But from that support between Dieck and Rutger, I think Dieck was fighting RUTGER in that last battle. (Which explains the mention that Rutger and Dieck were once on opposing sides).That also explains why Rutger was trying so hard to kill him right off the bat, because Rutger states multiple times that he only wields his blade with the sole intent to kill. He's trying to finish the fight that was cut short by mercy when all Rutger knows is vengeance.

Dieck last fight during his life as a pit fighter was against a lion, Klein ended up almost being killed by that Lion and Dieck saved him earning that scar in his face, how Rutger and Dieck met each other before i don't know, but Pent didn't interfere in any Dieck fight, and the solo reason Dieck joined him os because he saved Klein, by the way Klein himself says that in his support with Dieck.

They didn't meet before the beginning of the game. I'm pretty sure Dieck simply refers chapter 4 in which Rutger was an enemy unit at the start. Interestingly enough, Rutger is recruited by Clarine, who happens to be the little sister of Klein, whose life was saved by Dieck. They also have a little "side-story" together at the beginning of that chapter. Even though Clarine and Dieck didn't seem to know each other before their C support (likely because he left the Reglays young so she wasn't born yet, it makes sense since he also seems quite a bit older than Klein), she is probably the only actual link between the 2.
