I'm Polynesian. Since these song came out over 3 decades ago, this is one of 3 country songs ('All Those Heavenly Bodies' and Highway 40 Blues' are the other 2) I'll start wailing out at the top of my lungs in the most obnoxious worst twang ever heard - in public, with friends and family, to my wife's embarrassment. Crack myself up at 58 years old - keeps me feeling like a 20 year old.

Let it go man. I love this kind of music, grew up on it, and I do the same. My voice sucks but I cant help letting it out anyway. Mostly no one to hear it as I'm usually alone in the truck, or out with the cows, but I cant stop singing it anyway.

Brian, he is alive and doing mostly gospel music these days. I was Leon's Bus Driver back in the '80's.There is a picture of him and I near the end of this video. Thanks for stoppin' by. :) Mikey Thompson

Ruth, I was Leon's bus driver and bodyguard. Yes that was a pic of me and my old friend the late Randy Wagner who played lead guitar for Leon. That pic was taken down around Panama City if I remember right. Mikey
