@@outersiderofficial I want to say he’s a contract for hire musician at this point since he jumps between different projects He’s also not with Grasshopper anymore long story short Grasshopper was able to leave Gung-ho games after Let it Die but a large amount of the original staff stayed and formed Super Trick Games to keep Let it Die running and went on to make Deathverse (RIP) and now the new let it die game and he was one that stayed behind.

Maybe not, but he did steal the concept of Kirayami from Suda51 and used it for the DLC of The Evil Within He probably saw how Suda started with the initial concept of Darkness Vs Light that he wanted for the game that morphed into Shadows of the Damned (Kurayami) and since it wasn’t going to be used…aped it for himself then BRAZENLY called the Mode “Kurayami” 😒 Had The Evil Within been more like its sequel, Mikami may have stolen an award from Suda in this instance lol

I still have the special edition box set of Killer is Dead, it's the only suda51 xbox 360 game i still kept after all these years and I deeply regret getting rid of shadows of the damned and lollipop chainsaw. I am super excited for these re releases since you can't buy the original games anymore.

I like how the Italian director & lead game designer is nowhere to be mentioned, Massimo Guarini. Most of Suda's ideas were scrapped by EA, Mikami had very little input, but hey, their names sell better. So let's make people believe this is 99% a Mikami/Suda collab, even if it's not!

Was looking for people who remembered this fact. Massimo was credited as the game's director, designer and one of the writers. You'd think they could have fit his name in there somewhere among all those bogus comedy credit titles but I guess deceptive marketing is at play to overhype the two big names that are on record as having had a terrible time making this game because of EA creative notes destroying their original vision.
