i dont know if me and my cousins completed the game but i do remember reaching the final boss. my cousin is no more. i miss him. he was my gaming partner back when he was alive. Even though we were born in 2002-03, we still played these games cuz you know living in a third world country and all that. not only that we here have power cuts so we were always in fear of losing our game progress and had to start over.

Out of all the TMNT games (Arcades included), this game right here is my absolute favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game of all time. It just had everything in it, from beautifully detailed 8-bit levels that the NES could muster in its time, absolutely terrific and memorable soundtrack of music (Bridge of Danger level 3 being my favorite, and the rooftop level fight theme being my second favorite, then the boss theme Crazy Attack being third favorite), and an assortment of standout bosses from both the TV Cartoon show of the 80’s, Comics and the live action movie sequel, and finally the Turtles all have special attacks that make each one of them different in their own way. My only flaw with this game was wishing it was 4-players during it’s time and wishing that you could fight Bebop and Rocksteady together at the same time after defeating them in their first respectable encounters in a later level, as well as Tokka and Razar after their first respectable encounters too. That would have been cool, but other than that, this game is an absolute masterpiece of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game and beat em up game in general, it’s replay value is through the roof and sadly this was the pinnacle of the greatest time for the TMNT franchise and fanbase. I could argue that SNES/Arcade Version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV Turtles in Time was the final home run for the franchise and sadly after that, our heroes in a half shell medium would slowly start trekking downhill from that point on 😔, and it was sad to live through, but positively euphoric to be there as a young kid fan during the start of the rise to popularity and fame and unforgettable memories that will forever live with each and every one of us now. Despite all the bad things going on now in the current era of time, and the badly manufactured and corporate era of video games and toxic fans that try to manipulate people into either becoming a fan like them to these new video games, or simply written off as a hater that doesn’t deserve to live in their eyes, just for simply disagreeing with them and not particularly liking the video games out now or the direction that most franchises in gaming are going nowadays. Despite all the sad downfall of modern video games in today’s realistic looking video game era, we still live on in this new world with our great past memories of these retro video games and the joy they brought us and the world, every one of us has a special assortment of memories from this era of gaming that make us happy and always linger in our mind as a time where everything made sense, everything was fun, everyone was fun and understanding and it is why people still talk about these times, and modern video game developers try to replicate the formula and style of these times but just can’t, although I could argue that there are view that do actually replicate it perfectly and create standout video games, but those developers are very very rare in these modern times. (Sorry for this long comment, I just felt like giving much praise to an unforgettable masterpiece of a video game and the times that it was created in, and in my opinion, we were very very lucky and grateful to grow up and live through one of the greatest eras of time, and we should always cherish that, at least I know that I do 😊).
@Vahn4212 жыл бұрын
I share much of your sentiments. I always liked The Manhattan Project more than Turtles in Time. Turtles in Time took a lot less skill, IMHO. It's appeal was the sound and graphics. They made the turtles incredibly animated, and beating up enemies was FUN, but it's wasn't the same tactical game that TMNT III was. Plus the super moves in Turtles in Time are truly lackluster ESPECIALLY compared to the TMNT 3 special moves which was some of the most badass things gaming has seen up that point. Nothing like mowing down half a level with Raph by spamming his super before you lose your last tick of life.

I was so excited I called my best friend, he told me his dad wasn't happy I called him that late (It was 8:30 pm, late for a 10 year old back then :D) I told him I beat TMNT 3, and he ordered me to tell him all about the final boss before his dad scolded him, he added he could tell me about the stage in school the next monday. Ahhh sweet memories. Probably didn't score too many points though as I used mainly Raphael and whenever my health got down to 1 bar I kept on spamming his special move (A+B). I miss those simple times :)

I still think Battletoads was the greatest game ever on NES. Brutally hard and frustrating when you're 10 years old. But you really appreciate all the hard work that went into the game when you get older. Most of todays games you don't even have to break a sweat to beat a game or you are forced to buy content just to play. Battletoads really was a masterpiece for graphics, sound and difficulty on the NES.

Bebop really has some insane driving skills, considering how broken parts of the bridge are.

I loved this game as a kid. I remember getting it for my birthday and obsessively playing it everyday for about a month. It was by far my favourite game. Until I lent it to my friend. His older brother then gave the game to his friend... He then tried to give me back some garbage where's Waldo game instead... I never got the game back, and still to this day am pissed about it. Curse you Nick Savage!!!

I was 13 when my dad bought the game for me. To be a teen again and having no worries in life and eating pizza was just the best times.

I remember I had unlimited health on TMNT 3 on my Cassette but when I fought with Shredder he was not getting over because of a glitch there again . BUT THOSE DAYS WHEN I USED TO PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS AND MAMA(UNCLE ) 🥺🥺NOSTALGIA

You reminded me of my early childhood. I used to play this around 29 years ago on my Nintendo console and every time I got stuck in the Shredder Boss fight 51:00 and used to think that the game has a glitch as I was unable to defeat him after too many hits :) Today I came to see this video how Shredder can be defeated! Thanks for sharing this video. Great Work!
