My 87 year old dad has had his phone for 3 months and hasn't been able to receive calls the whole time. Because of self-isolating for Covid 19 he couldn't get any help to sort it out. The phone shops have also been closed due to lock-down in the UK. I just found your video and showed it to my dad on Zoom - and talked him through the process. Success! His phone now works perfectly. After 2 weeks of all calls going to voicemail I learned about button on side fixes it. Today it's back to normal ring & straight to voicemail. Hopefully your instructions will get it ringing again.

Thank you Dr... People thought I was an idiot.. could be unrelated signs of that but moving on.. I had this problem and was in a race against time every time it rang. I finally figured out how to answer it.. I had to pull down the too if screen to view notifications.. find the one that said incoming call... Select it and wait for answer screen, then swipe up or if available hit the answer button and if I was fast enough, I got the call... I felt like I was on that holey moley golf show racing past all the traps.so thank you so much!! My husband finally found your video here after actually watching me try to answer a call.before that he just didn't bother to help me assuming I was either lying or dumb. Now I can quickly answer calls from people who do care...that's life huh. Marcia in Modesto

It still functions but the screen is badly cracked :( It blows my mind that in 2021 they are churning out phones that cannot be answered. My Dad has a Moto G7 and wasn't receiving calls AT ALL (no ring, no notification, no nothing). He was telling me "I need a new phone, a new service, I want to put this cell under the tire of my car." I searched for the solution to this problem and couldn't really find it but found this video. Did what you mentioned and it seems to have resolved it. Very grateful. Much love from the States!

You know, I saw that for one way to fix the problem. But I said that doesn't make any sense. Why should I have to clear my "Cache" to get an incoming phone notification. So I just kept going back and forth to settings and notifications, changing this and changing that. Also, when you clear Cache, that's usually for getting more space. Ah! nothing makes sense anymore. I'm just glad I didn't get as frustrated as Mr. Dave Panther and threw my phone against the wall.😂Thanks again Doctor.😁 Oh! you also taught me how to get to "Settings" quicker.💃💃

I was not happy so I googled the problem and your video came up watched it followed it and yup all good thank so much once again.
