I thought this song was absolutely amazing but way too short, so I combined different versions found in game into one long song in HD.

I heard this in Ashenvale not long ago and now that I know the name of the song I found this script file so you can play it whenever and wherever. Just put it in chat /script PlayMusic("sound/music/cataclysm/MUS_NightElves_GU01.mp3") Use this to stop the music as it plays on loop until you stop the script /script StopMusic();

My take on deciphering this, based on the official translations, and a bit of pure speculation: *Azshara* *Nordrassil* = "Crown of the Heavens", the World tree. But i believe that in this case it is meant in the literal sense. Something about Azshara and the Night Elves ruling the whole world before the Sundering. The initial part of the song seems to be a lament, telling the story of the Kaldorei, and a reminder of all they have lost. *Zin-Azshari* = "Glory of Azshara", their capital from before the Sundering. *Quel'dorei* = "Children of Noble Birth" , the Highborne. As i interpreted, she sings this on a somewhat bitter tone, showing resentment towards them. *Nordrassil* = "Crown of the Heavens" (Now this time i believe they are refering to the World tree itself). *Elune Adore* = Elune be with you/us (In no case "Adore" was oficially translated to "Be with us", but for the sake of trying to make sense of the lyrics, let's pretend it can also mean that. "Elune be with you" seems weird, who's this "you" they are refering to?) *Elune Adore* = Elune be with us. ~Drums start~ *Zin* = "Glory" (From "Zin-Azshari"). ~chanting~ *Nordrassil* *Elune* *Zin-Azshari* *Zin-Shan'do Adore* = Something along the lines of "May the glory of our honored teacher be with you/us". (Zin= Glory, Shan'do= "Honored Teacher", Adore= "Be with you".) I believe they are refering to either Cenarius or Malfurion. *Zin* = Glory.

There almost hasn't been any character development at all, which has been an issue for both the dwarves and the Night Elves. Blizzard has lost completely focus on the two races, with their main focus being in the Alliance being on the humans(with Draenei getting 1 expansion). I don't mind the main focus being on the humans, but the problem starts when all the focus ends up on them to the point where the other races are being forgotten.

Yes, Purple-long eared humans. And by that I mean the Night Elves losing any kind of personality, micking the human in both society and armies. 1. I think you underestimate how much of a loss that is for the Horde. Ashenvale was their MAIN SOURCE OF LUMBER. Ogrimmar was built with the lumber taken from those forests. 2. I think the fact the Warsong lumber camp being overrun, and skirmishes in Azshara depict it quite well. 3. Night Elves have been a part of the Alliance for several years at this point, it is not far fetched that perhaps some form of trust is beginning to take shape. Yet there are still signs of xenophobia present.
