Alisa absolutely! That is also my primary issue with the Kardashians at times it’s a different version of black face in my opinion. Adopting features of black women, the insane tanning, the surgical procedures, their style is all copied from black women and they’re paraded for it! It’s insane to me.. I see what you’re saying with personal responsibility though, but I think they go hand in hand. Men and women in their growing years are more susceptible to internalizing things regardless of their own morals and beliefs. I’m not saying it’s all their fault, but they have caused a massive impact on the beauty industry and social media, and it hasn’t been all good. I just think they should acknowledge that. People forget in their earlier years they used to sell products they claimed helped get them the body they have that doctors and scientists advised against using.
