Love multi-mode teams. It gives you so many options to counter your opponent. Their team super fast? Set-up trick room. Bad against weather? Make it snow and has Cetitan go to work

Great video, Shady! You asked in the team overview if there are any other terrain setters in series 1, and in fact there are: Arboliva has Seed Sower which allows it to set grassy terrain when it's hit with a damaging move, and Pincurchin gets Electric Surge (which is of interest given the rules for Series 2 that were just announced). There's also the move ice spinner which removes terrain if it connects, and then of course defog but I've never seen that in VGC

Hey, it’s worth noting Defiant is +2 per drop. So your Ape went to +3 because it still went to -1 with the Parting Shot in the Sylveon-Grimm game. Separately, I love seeing this. This is one of the series I would binge during Sun and Moon days when I wasn’t involved with VGC. So this is both a throwback and one of my favorite forms of content from you. I look forward to seeing more of this and best of luck on the climb. I managed to make Master Ball for season 2 as well with a rain team.

Personally love these videos whenever they come up - i see then we fight content as basic background noise/"oh look i have content" - whereas these i always make aure i take the time to pay attention and enjoy the ride 😁 Would love to see more weather teams like sand or sun although i guess thats less competetive - ive had fun with trick room torkoal plus chlorophyll scovillain to give that mix of speed and slow 😁
