Gulam ali world class gazalist, usko suroka "computer" bolte hai, after recording this ulbum he said " meri 28 saal ka riyaz asha ke gaykj ki samne koi kaam ka nahi" ar rehman ne kaha interview me " i have not seen singer like asha in my life" rafi ka baap bhi aisi gazal nahi gaa sakta, jara suno bhaisahab woh album. there is no versatile singer like asha in india, all types of flavors and ultimate classically trained. rafi ko kishore ne dikhayi apni aukat 68 ke baad, history refer karo bhaisahab. no personal please.

भाई जिस पत्रकार ने बोला था कि उसके साथ दिए गए इंटरव्यू मेंआर डी बर्मन जी ने रफी साहब की शान में कुछ अप्रिय सा बोला था ,पहले तो आप ये जान ले कि कई बड़े बड़े नामचीन लोगों ने उस पत्रकार के बारे में बताया कि वो अपने लेख में झूठ मूठ की बातें या तोड़ मरोड़ के चीजों को पेश करता था। ये बात अलग है कि आर डी बर्मन साहब ने किशोर कुमार जी के साथ ज्यादा काम किया ,वजह उस समय राजेश खन्ना का स्टारडम और प्रोड्यूसर डायरेक्टर की मांग और ये कहे के बर्मन के म्यूजिक का स्टाइल किशोर कुमार के स्टाइल से मैच करता हुआ था ,जबकि रफी साहब तुलनात्मक रूप से बहुत गंभीर ,शांत प्रिय और एक हिसाब से आर दी के पितातुल्य छवि के व्यक्ति हुआ करते थे। शायद ये वजह भी थी कि रफी साहब का काम कुछ कम रहा पंचम दा के साथ। रही बात कि रफी साहब के सम्मान की तो पंचम साहब के उनके बारे में जितने भी इंटरव्यू किए होंगे ,कभी भी असम्मान या उनकी गायकी को ले कर कोई कमतर बात नहीं की । रफी साहब की मृत्यु के बाद का इंटरव्यू जिस समय खुद पंचम हिन्दी फिल्म क्या संभवतः पूरे भारत के सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म संगीतकार के रूप में अपनी जगह बना चुके थे वो बता रहे के शान के गाने यम्मा यम्मा में उनके साथ गाने की बात डरते डरते बता रहे थे या फिर पंचम दा की पहली फिल्म में भी रफी साहब ही उनका उत्साह बढ़ा रहे थे । क्या आपको लगता है कि कभी पंचम दा ने रफी साहब जैसे महान गायक की शान में कोई गुस्ताखी की होगी?? सबसे बड़ा उदाहरण ये कि रफी साहब को मिला नेशनल अवॉर्ड भी पंचम दा का ही संगीतबद्ध गीत था जिसके बाद पंचम दा से उस गीत के बारे में पूछा गया तो बिना किसी झिझक के पंचम दा ने उसका पूरा क्रेडिट रफी साहब को देते हुए बोला के ये रफी साहब का काबिलियत है जो गाना इतना शानदार बना ।

Across various you tube channels, the praise is only either for Rafi Saheb or Kishore Saheb. Both of them are undoubtedly masters but why is there no such praises for other great singers like Mukesh Saheb, Manna Dey Saheb, Talat Mehmood Saheb, Mahendra Kapoor Saheb, and also Hemant Kumar Saheb. All these were also great. Further, to make songs memorable , even the lyricist and music directors make equally important contributions. A most disgusting song like ' bhelpuri kha raha tha ' will never sound good even if Rafi Saheb, or Kishore Da were to sing that. Even if they had been alive then, i seriously doubt if they would have agreed to sing such horrible songs.

@Araju From where you have got this wrong data? We're you Kishor, s secretary then. Kishore was a flop actor. When Aradhana released in 1969 end, he got some flook due to Rajesh Khanna. This wave went down in middle 1973. Rafi already got 5 Film fare Awards as best singer and Padmashri. During 70s Rafi got National Award and Film fare both for one song. Rafi got Singer of Millennium Award in 2000 . His song Baharo phool barsao..was No. 1 in BBB contest 2013.He got No 1 Singer by CNN IBN survey in 2024.

Kishore Kumar who was not a trained classical singer with him he recorded "mere Naina sawan bhado" based on raag shivranjani,then " jane Kya soch kar nahi gujra", don't forget that time it was single take not like today that you can sing a single word. 2. Made song in each & every possible way in music possible. 3. Out side musical instruments produce music with cold drink bottle,polish paper and other thing 4. Introduce many musical instruments in our music likes flenzer,paddle matka.
