Ms. Ali, I started listening to her after Trayvon M murder. She used to be on Dr. Drew & she nvr held back. She believed in Separatism. I didn't agree back then but now I totally understand why us blacks may need 2 be seperate from others. Like she said, we don't have or own food, religion, education, etc. 400+ yrs of us following the white man's playbook...we need our own playbook 2 go by. The only way we can do that is live amongst eachother & create our own. We are not them. The more history I learn, I am realizing who we really are.

@@UltraInstinct-yn1ft you can’t speak for her. She clearly said Africans dont like us. I know many Africans and I have for years and I have only experienced this once. I did not associate that individual with the whole continent of Africa. Elder Ali does not need a translator her words are clear. By the way, what separates us more than anything is the fact that we come from two different cultures. African American culture is the worst black culture in my opinion and I’m born and raised in America.

Her knowledge of our (black history), wisdom and life experiences is extraordinary. She is and always will be a TREASURE. Sister Ali isn't NEW to this, she is true to this. She is an established and successful author, speaker, and much more. She has lectured and taught all over the world, and she accomplished this in person. Way before social media existed. Social media is a great invention, but Sister Ali DID IT before it was created. There are those who reject what our elders have to say, but Sister Ali is one elder who we all could learn from She is Special. Blessings and Respect to Sister Ali.

That smile in regards too the question about when the Elder changed her name was everything ❤ ☺😊, as she recalled how she got it . I smiled along with her as she recounted her husband had given her , her name 🔥🔥 after all these yrs still could smile like that in reference too that moment was powerful for me.

I legally changed my name in April of 2022 and it was one of the best days of my life. I never liked the name my mother gave me and was always embarrassed by it.
