I agree very very few nba players have accomplished as much as Tatum at his age in his career. Some guys it takes them multiple years to fully overcome the hump and I think Tatum is going through that process. But I also think Tatum is beginning to get to a breaking point. In like 5 years the narrative on him will either be is Tatum better then Durant all time or is he a top 15 player or it will be is Tatum one of the biggest chokers of all time and I don’t feel like there will be any inbetween

Tatum can do everything that Shai does offensively (although Shai is a slightly better passer), with noticeably better defence. JT is clearly takin a step back on offense and prioritizing wins over stats given the talent on the roster, while Shai has nobody even close to his offensive power on his roster. To say that someone like SGA, who never played a meaningful role in the playoffs is better than JT is straight disrespectful.

Come on now… he’s a better mid range shooter and steals. That’s it! Tatum destroys him in every other category even passing. SGA isn’t really a good play maker and he’s a guard. Tatum isn’t a guard, SGA should have way more assists. I’m not hating and SGA is my favorite guard in the west. I’m from Boston been here since 1992! My first game I ever watched was Jordan hitting that shot to win vs Jazz in the finals. So I’ve watched a lot of basketball , Tatum is way better overall!
