i love, love, love that she makes these outtake videos and gives everybody else more recognition and screen time. even though they’re focusing on the making of the video, i just see this as such an inclusive thing for the rest of the video cast and everyone working behind the scenes. i just feel that she’s super appreciative of her entire team, and she thinks so highly of and respects the other artists (all the dancers, finger people, cheerleaders, etc.) coming onto set to help with the production.

i like that when they're getting note from the directors it's not about pointing toes more or being more on time at certain points but rather changing the feeling within and taking a new approach to the song tonally. it shows that modern dance it really something that stems from within a person and how they feel the music and environment around them, and also shows that most of the choreo and movement in this segment was improvised which is also awesome!

sugersimmer I'm a modern dance and not even the older girls do this stuff, did you know modern is actually a dance style made to rebel against ballet!? So most of the dances and moves are not slow paced and you always point your toes. This IS contemporary, where you express emotions and it's usually slow and flowing. :)
