No offense intended but that diesel sounds bad. I love the O’day and I have the ‘86 28sl model with an upgraded westerbeke 20B Two. The 28 is double hulled and a really firm boat. They sail nicely. These are great sailers and I would take mine anywhere. Love the flag. Big flag means big love. Anyways thank you for the vid. Wish people would film more about the O’day 28 because they are excellent

Thanks for the comment. You are right about the engine. It needs service. Oil change and valve check. It never failed us, though. It’s a solid little diesel.
