Brexit is anti-EU, not anti-european. Also, Cameron is not right-wing. He flew down to join Murdoch on his yacht in the Med to tell him the Blair Project was safe in his hands. This is how Cameron got Murdoch's newspapers on his side.

This book is more a history of Victorian (lack of) morality than anything else. The man has a way with words and it is an absolute page-turner. I wish I had three hands so I could rate it 3 Thumbs Up!

I am enjoying Bruce's book, but would point out Stephen Knight never said Prince Eddy actually carried out the murders - he said Netley, Gull and Sickert. Also. I am dismayed as he doesn't seem to know the Juwes/ Masonic theory was first aired to the mainstream public, on BBC 1, in 1973, three years before Knight's book, in a six part docu/drama called 'Barlowe and Watt investigates'. Barlowe and Watt were characters in a police drama called Softly, Softly. I have this on dvd, a copy, and watched it recently so my memory is not fading. For those who are interested it's in the 2nd part called 'Double Event'

Spot on. Not having read his book, I also doubt that he includes PM Ted Heath's act of adding 70 years to the moratorium on the release of the Case Papers from the Records Office at Kew. Why? If the killer was a relatively insignificant person, why would that warrant such secrecy?
@NAB001
@NAB001 8 ай бұрын

Fascinating, Bruce certainly has a pair, you have to give him that! Whether or not Maybrick was the Ripper, the book is an amazing piece of invective, and a pretty accurate indictment of Victorian, and modern, society. The book could have done with a good editor, granted, but he makes some good points, I particualrly liked the fact that he put the boot into so called 'Ripperologists', who have turned this fiends actions into a profitable industry, and who pontificate and flex over it all as an intellectual exercise. In many ways, this isn't just a book about Jack the Ripper, and that's the point. I would recommend it, and also, if you really need to delve further, The Five, by Hallie Rubenhold.

On the contrary, the book is a good read-nothing in it is superfluous. One can always skip ahead if one wants to get to the actual details of who he was, but it's nice to know the background against which he was operating.

Still, it's as if Marwood wound up as some old man ranting about Freemasons and Jack the Ripper. I commend Mr Robinson on his candor with regards to freemasonry but when it comes to religion he is the one that should stop peering through the microscope and take a step back. What is Christianity and what is judaism? If he truly understood who Jesus Christ is then he would not blaspheme His name. Mr Robinson would understand what the ultimate purpose of the masons is and that is to serve the jews. You cannot understand society or history or religion, or anything for that matter, if you don't understand the jews. Why does Mr Robinson think they are called Masons? Because they have to build the 3rd temple in Jerusalem!
