I usually never write comments, but this is so nicely done with so much love. I need to read Othello for school, this makes it more enjoyable. Really thank you

@@SP-qi8ur What I like best about this series is that every role is cast with actors who are highly trained and experienced in Shakespeare and all are directed by the very knowledgeable Clive Brill. Yes, I've heard every one of them over the course of several years. Love the music too!

THIS IS SO GOOD! especially emilia at the end?? woww i physically felt her anguish and anger. also at 2:53:30.. i never expected iago to laugh, and it made him so sinister and non-human. amazing cast!!

Very well done! The tone made this old english much easier to understand for me. The voice actors all did a stellar job!

The English of William Shakeseare is not Old English. The English of William Shakespeare is Early Modern English. Beowulf is an examlpe of Old English. Judging from his own grammar and vocabulary from his plays, even William Shakespeare would probably have a difficult time reading the original Beowulf. William Shakespeare likely understood Central Middle English because he based his Troilus and Cressida on the Troilus and Criseyde written by Geoffrey Chaucer, a writer in the Central Middle English period. The only real difference between the English of William Shakespeare and Modern English is the spelling. Most people would probably not comprehend the orginial manuscripts of the plays of William Shakespeare because the spelling of words is quite different from Modern English.

This is Incredible! I already love the Story of Othello but this bumps it up to a whole nother level!!! Firstly, the reading and voice overs are Great- Secondly I love the little bits of details such as Rodrigo whimpering at 31:51. And thirdly everyone did their part Great! So much support and love for you all!❤
