I've was 5 when this was No1 for seemingly ages. I was absolutely terrified of that angel of death coming down the stairs. I always his behind the sofa when the vid came on. In my teens, I had a mega retro crush on Siobhan Fahey from the group Bananarama. In a strange twist, a few years later I found out they're the same person.

A big fan of Alison Moyet as well. I will never understand Celine Dion's success: it's a very predictable, false voice. As for Adele, well she is grossly overrated. They cannot compare in any way with the greats of the past such as Dusty Springfield.
