It loses the play on words in translation. When she says Sal Pique it comes across splash but Pique is her Ex's name. When she says Clara mente it comes across as clearly but Clara is the girlfriend's name. She gets a shot in at the mother in law also. Pique was bringing the girlfriend into the house, into their bedroom, wearing Shakira's clothes while Shakira was busy working, and his parents knew about it and lied about it as well.

Bizarrap started this no more than 5 years ago with his friends now artists in Argentina, some from Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela. The music and lyrics are dedicated to her narcissistic ex, it is her cathartic song, coming to terms with what happened and she is calling them both out by name. Music wise Pique is a fan of Daft Punk so..... She made this song to diss him in his favorite genre of music. It's her signature, she has done it before. Nothing new of her. salPIQUE- splash CLARAmente- clearly She mentions la suegra- mother-in law cuz she knew what her son was up to and kept Shakira in the dark about it all. Spain press has let it be known la suegra is racist. Proud of being Catalan and wasn't happy with Shakira simply because she was born in Colombia.
