I really appreciate the time and energy you're putting into these Lana reactions. You seem to get Lana's genius, early on. So many times she's just glazed over and not appreciated like she deserves to be. You are picking up on all the things that a lot of people miss, which is really cool. Plus you're appreciating all the tiny choices she's included in the production. She's always so involved with her production, everything always sounds SO Lana, no matter which type of song she creates. It's always different, yet always so uniquely Lana !!!! 💙💙💙

yesssir im so ready, r u ready for my long ass comment?? cultural resetttt album. born to die is all ab themes of escapism to cope with issues, finding consolation/happiness within other people, and living for freedom. this is still the most relatable album for me, along w ultraviolence. born to die is like "yolo" but also that her relationship was toxic and doomed to fail from the start of it, it was literally "born to die". off to the races is myy all time fav lana song, the voice inflections, the storytelling, beat, flow, the BRIDGE!! ty for appreciating it to the fullest. u should def do another video where u react to the music videos! they r as cinematic as the songs!! video games is a timeless love song, it blew her up along with summertime sadness and it has neverr gotten old no matter how much i listen to it. the national anthem mv is my fav from this album, asap rocky is in it ! dark paradise is v sad actually, about an ex who died and she's longing for him, wants to be with him on the other side. its good u mentioned the weeknd, bc they have been close friends for a long time and they've both agreed that their discography has lots of similarities. she loves LA and cali, she talks ab the american dream a lot which is what she envisions LA as. she uses cinnamon a lot and says "sweet like cinnamon" which is interesting bc cinnamon isn't sweet but actually quite bitter, so it's like an alternate meaning. carmen is ab Lana's own alcohol addiction from a young age, which is also very sad, she got sent to a boarding school during her childhood due to these issues, shes been sober now for over a decade though!! its french in the bridge haha. her million dollar live performances r a must seee hope u can react to those too, in her live performances she changes up the way she sings everytime, which keeps it rlly interesting. i always loved the line "this is what makes us girls, we don't stick together cuz we put love first" in this is what makes us girls, its so true and so sad. i cannot wait for paradise reaction and ultraviolence reaction!!!

Born to die and the paradise editions is very hip-hop inspired sound wise,Ultraviolence has a lot of guitar and drums, Honeymoon is very much jazz and a very cinematic james bond sound, lust for life we go back to the hip hop pop style from born to die, NFR is just a very experimental sound piano guitar almost everything, chemtrails over the country club lyrics wise very ultraviolence but sound its like NFR but kinda folky country ish, Blue banisters is very jazz, folk but also very personal the lyrics are personal asf it feels like shes talking/singing to you personally and ocean blvd its is full on personal to her but very relatable we go back to her fear in born to die being forgotten and her fear of death a lot of ballads lanas voice is so raw in this album and starts off sad asf but ends up happy and in a way nostalgic cause of the last track.

Some facts, that might be interesting if you're new to her music: she writes all of her songs (except from covers obviously), on older albus she's either named "lana del rey" or "elisabeth grant" (which is her real name), she wanted to be a poet when she was younger and she still thinks about herself as a poet first, then as a singer, she even published her poetry book, she graduated with a metaphysics degree, she's (just) 39 but her biography is already so full! Like, she lived through so much, e.g. she suffered from an alcohol addiction, she was sent abroad to boarding school after her friend/boyfriend commmited s*icide - she sings about some of this both on this album (Dark Paradise) and on her newest album Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, when she became famous she was accused by media and critics that she's just the fake product of her label and that her father bought her a career and only since NFR she actually started to get the deserved universal recognition. So many artists mentioned her as their inspiration (including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Carli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo), because she reall has changed the industry.
