I love this module. Thanks for the awesome design - it unlocks so many possibilities.

Oh it's this great and very intuitive! I will be getting one for my case.

You are guys - geniuses! As always :)

From my research of scene / preset modules, this is still the best one. Anyone found anything in a similar direction released in the last 3 years? 4ms released the catalyst module but it's only for offset voltage.

Love it! How many steps has the knob record function?
@ShakmatModular Жыл бұрын
16 steps :)

hey great review! when you showed that channel b can act as an attenuator for channel a, in that case, can channel b still send an offset from its output or in that case can it no longer do so?
@ShakmatModular Жыл бұрын
Nope indeed if you use a channel (B)as attenuator of the precedent one(A), you can't use it as function generator. The previous channel (A) outputs full range and the next one (B) will output the same modulation but attenuated/inverted depending on the setting of the knob of that channel (B)

what is the knob resolution and output DAC resolution bit depth of the preset programmer? Ive found 12 bit isnt high resolution for many projects, especially when it comes to microtuning oscillators, where you're trying to make the oscillators beat at very specific timings.

The harlequin's context has a 12 bit DAC - so indeed it might be tricky to control microtuning very precisely - but we have our Bard Quartet coming soon with specific microtuning features on a 16 bit DAC :)

genius module but incredibly complicated.

Hey i cant figure out if the harlequin's context can record parameter changes live or do i have to program them stepwise?

simply hold the store button while turning a knob - and here we go ;) bonus trick you can do it while sequencing the scenes - this works very well on offset and release envelop types ;)

Oh wow so cool! So it creates presets for a module so that you can switch on the fly for various tones right? Would you still need to use a sequencer or modulation tool like an LFO or function generator with it?
@ShakmatModular3 жыл бұрын
Yes it creates presets you can recall on the fly :) those presets can contain envelops, LFOs, randomness or fixed values. So you can use this module instead of four LFOs or envelops or random generators.

It seems we can't have clocked LFO and Morph ... what a pity
@ShakmatModular3 жыл бұрын
Hey Pierre - morph and clocked LFO at the same time would mean non integer divisions of the incoming clock signal which seemed a bit confusing and not super useful :)
