Shakshuka Eggs Recipe (Eggs in Tomato Sauce Best Breakfast)

The heat from this shakshuka is sure to wake you up in the morning! Here's how to make this North African/Middle Eastern breakfast dish.
Recipe:
1 medium onion
1 red bell pepper
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 400g can Baby Roma Tomatoes (or any other canned tomatoes)
3 large eggs
salt and pepper, to taste
1 bunch chives
1 bunch parsley
1 tbsp tahini
1 sliced sourdough bread
1 lemon

I've been cooking this for the longest time. Shuta Shakshouka pala 'to. Haha. My version is that I add basil, ground black pepper and cheese, I am also using smoked paprika for some umf. (Sometimes I fry up pepperoni (weird ba?), breakfast sausage or bacon to go with it)

My mom made this for us very morning and now I make it for my kids we love it! It’s delicious 😋 only different we whisk the eggs and use a lot of spices ( turmeric , ginger, 7 spices ,black pepper, cinnamon and cumin) and use vegetables seasoning instead of salt and side of pita bread or Nan 😋😋

Shashukka is my go to dish for breakfast or dinner. It’s so easy to put together and very fulfilling. 😋 I always use cherry tomatoes, maybe I need to try canned tomatoes 🤔 your dish looks amazing though!!

One of my fave breakfast, I make mine spicy. Sometimes I also put whatever vegetable I have in the fridge, like potatoes or cauliflower. Best eaten with flatbread or we call it here khobs in Saudi Arabia. Yum. That’s my version. I also like za’atar bread with olive oil or labneh in the morning. You should try it.
