Thank you. I play the Great Highland Bagpipe from Scotland which normally takes at least 8 years to play it properly .. i heard about the same for the Shakuhachi . so i learn this instrument now :) .. i love challenges, and i love the old traditions ;) .. thanks for this lovely documentation !

The beginning of Koden Sugomori is just... transcendental. It takes me to a different place almost immediately. It truly is a magical sound that the Shakuhachi creates. I hope you keep producing masters of this type of music.

If I don't make it wrong, the musical concepts of Shakuhachi are so much similar to Guqin, the most ancient string instrument of China. Even the ways of notation follow similar rules!

I don't know about that in detail. Both Guqin and Shakuhachi originated from China. I think both have common points in that they play natural sounds.
