"This is hard work" that might sound like a cliché for some people, but for those who have witnessed her journey, this is so heart touching. This woman started from nothing, performing in bars, parking lots, shoe stores, when she used to open for other artists and the budget she was given was too low, she would do another full show to afford the things she wanted for her show, she paid for her first tour, many people didn't believe in her, and then she became one of the biggest stars in the world. She's been working tirelessly for so many years and she deserves all the recognition as the brilliant artist she is. A living legend

Some people think her speech was so cliche but here are some things she was doing simultaneously with this movie: *acting for AHS Season 6 *preparing for superbowl halftime show *making an album called Joanne, then giving concerts around the world for it *acting for a star is born movie and making a whole soundtrack album for the movie *she was also in so much suffer bc of her illness fibromyalgia, broke up her longtime fiance and struggled against mental ilness *her best friend Sonya died bc of cancer during the a star is born shots, but she contunied to acting with her hurt and didnt let anybody down at the set (last scene was filmed that day) *despite the all of the things she has done, the media call her “flop” and said “she is over” but she didnt let these headlines defeat herself It ended up Gaga became the first person who won all academic awards in one year including The Oscar. So, she was totally right when she gave that speech. It was really hardwork and it was more about the not giving up instead of winning. Love and respect her.

You're absolutely right in saying that she is a very, very hard working woman. She deserves what she has got in her career. I truly support this woman as she is an immense talent and credit to the entertainment industry at large and I genuinely believe that she will go down in history as one of the greatest entertainers of all time, one who will forever be remembered by humankind in terms of massive original creativity, originality and, I would argue, genius. I truly believe this.

Grammys honestly hate Gaga. This song literally didn’t win Song and Record of The Year. No offense to Donald Glover but yeah. But still the most awarded song ever 🥳. At least the Oscars treated her right.
@LanachellaGags3 жыл бұрын
She has 11 Grammys and has performed at the Grammys 7 times. I agree with you that shallow should’ve won song of the year. But the Grammys definitely don’t hate her.
@WhistleMeThis3 жыл бұрын
The Grammys don’t necessarily “hate” her but they are not easy on her. Not the way that they are easy on people such as Beyoncé or Taylor Swift who get nominated left and right for less than impactful material that generally sells well during the commercial year. Gaga is held to a higher standard and they are more selective with the awards they give her. She’s going to be a star in the industry for a long time and they aren’t going to give her all the awards this early in her career. The album “Born This Way” won literally no Grammys but it’s legacy has long outlasted most of the stuff that was celebrated at the time. The same will happen for Shallow, which was definitely Record of the Year and Song of the Year material. It’s going to be an American classic forever. Honestly no ones going to care who won the Grammy that year. But everyone will know “Shallow” for generations. That’s what is more important about music.
@auandaily3 жыл бұрын
@@WhistleMeThis come on, the Grammys are not easy on Taylor at all. It takes her changing genre and rebranding herself into doing different genres to really get recognition by them. It was easy back when she was in her Fearless-post-speak now era but after that, the Grammys have always kept it hard for her to win a trophy.
