You’re a master at multi tasking! Lots of rods/reels, lines, bait, cameras, anchors, and more… I have caught some catfish as a youngster in Missouri & Kansas, but moved North when I came of age. Ended up commercial fishing on the Bearing Sea for many years. Now I’m living down in America, desert Southwest country, no water and of course no fish! But I get to go fishing with you vicariously through the magic of your videos. Thank you sir.

Thank you for the tip on running the boat to far on the bank. I love watching your videos for the info on how you rig your fishing rigs. Just a suggestion. You might do a show on how and why you rig your rigs the way you do. I know it would be hard to do it in the boat. But if you would do it at home in a room, on the porch or in the garage or shop that would be great. You could also make a short video of fishing on a slow day and edit in a rig tip to make it a longer show. In other words I'm looking for all the help I can get. Thanks again.

@TylersDreams002 жыл бұрын
Question why did you release the bigger cat??
@whiskerpigfishing2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I don't keep the larger fish or very many of the small ones. You can only use so much fish. I fish multiple days a week. I don't usually keep a cat over 10# unless it's mortally wounded because our fish spend a lot of time buried in the lake bottom. If you think of where the pollutants settle it's in the lake bottom. A catfish's whole body is like a tounge. My opinion is that they absorb some of these pollutants through there skin. Keep in mind I am not a scientist or claim to be one. The other reason is there are not as many fish here over 30# and there are multiple 1000's smaller fish. The natural selection process leads me to try and protect the genetics of the ones that survive to be full beard pigs 🐷🐗🐷. But to each their own. If you harvest a fish through legal means then it's your fish to do as you please. Just my opinion have a blessed day.

I like his videos because fishing is really just about having fun and he definitely seems to encapsulate that. The thing that kills me is how many rods this state allows a person to use. Takes a lot of the intricacies of being a really good fisherman out. You really don't have to figure out where the fish might be when you can just throw 1000 rods in at once. I'll never understand why that is legal so I'll just chalk that up to another example of the South being the South.
