Love your videos man keep at it. Been watching them for a few months now. Probably my favorite catfish channel right now. Keep teaching as much as you can I try to learn from you. Especially where on the river your fishing and why. Like telling us about the current seem and such.

Nice video man fishing gets real when it starts getting cold fr ! Give um a nice hook set when they run should nail them cat daddies . Have the drag medium tight so it doesn’t snap off on a decent fish .

Didn't have a very good time? Any time you can catch a plus-30-pound blue is a great day!

I am watching from Elmira NY when I fish the Chemung river for catfish I use the Texas rig with my hook on top and my sinker below it avoids getting hung up

Getting stuck in the mud, brings back a lot of memories LOL. I began using 10 ply mud and snow tires to help some. Also kept extra big jacks and boards, used it all and then some. a fresh hot meal on a damp chilly night is a major thing, makes it more doable LOL. Of course catching something sure helps as well. What is the size of the motor on the canoe, a one or 2 horse or less?

that snell knot on that straight shanked circle hook is what is causing your hook up ratio to not be that great. If you want to snell a circle hook you need to use a hook with an offset eyelet, otherwise use a different knot like a trilene knot

Great video, and how long do you let your baits soak when you're trying to find fish.

What reels are you using in this video? Are they older Daiwa's?
