Excellent interview……My girlfriend and I saw Jackie on B Way, several times….at the end of several performances we went back stage to show appreciation…every time he invited us into his dressing room as if we were long time friends. Jackie Mason truly an amazing and classy man. Living on the UWS I would run into him on the street. Always friendly and willing to speak to fans.

I was lucky enough to work for Jackie & his wife Jyll from 2001-2007.They r fantastic people. I had so much fun on the road with Jackie in Canada; USA & UK.To sit down with him in a restaurant ;a mall; an I Hop or Red Rooster is an experience.I got an Education money couldn't buy & a LIFE experience; he NEVER stops; he is always thinking up new routines.Despite Jews reputations of being MEAN; he is extremely generous with his money & his TIME.& I am a GENTILE from the UK.Jackie & Jyll know me as Dave The WELSHMAN

I remember seeing him on Broadway 40 years ago. There were several points in the show where I thought I was going to laugh so much I would have a heart attack. Remember, you only laugh when the pinch line true. At the heart of his craft is a distinct musical sense. His linguistic rhythm is perfect.

Oh, wow! I came here because Lance Walnau was on Eric Metaxas' Radio Show ("Lance Walnau: God's Chaos President" and the Upcoming Election) and they were discussing how Lance's delivery (on politics) was reminding everyone of Jackie Mason: so here comes my embarrassed admission: I had heard the name but didn't know exactly who Jackie Mason was, or what he did. . .no, I have not been living under a rock, I've just had my head down and been living in a land of no laughter for many years. . .enough said. . .ANYWAY, I LOOOVE Jackie's humor that is not sarcastic, or puts people down. He looks at the funny side of the human condition and it feels like a very positive energy. I am a drug and alcohol counselor and I try to use humor to illustrate our blind spots as humans to help my clients; I also use humor to help me reach out to the teenagers in crisis with whom our agency is trying to engage. I am going to start watching as many of Jackie's presentations as I can (I'm going to start with "The World According To Me"). Being able to FIND and laugh at the funny side of the human condition is a wonderful gift, I hope this Gentile mind can wrap itself around the concepts Jackie discusses in building and delivering good jokes. A few years ago I started realizing that telling jokes to other people and making them laugh made me happy. . .so now I have started telling telling jokes I've heard: to the bus drivers, fellow passengers on the bus, people waiting at the bus stop, to waitresses, cashiers. . .fire hydrants? No. . .I tell so many jokes because I like to see people laugh, it energizes me. . .I suggest people start telling jokes if you want to get a "life is good" vibe going in your life. I only tell jokes that are clean and positive, that don't mock or make fun of anyone. . .and that makes me feel good too. But now I hope, with Jackie's help, to build and deliver great jokes to help my people. Love you all, ESPECIALLY all you "insecure Jews" as Jackie says. . .hugs and hugs. . .

He was so impressed with the heroic work of the Catholic church in saving Jewish people, he named his son after Pope Pius Xll. Many, maybe most of your people seem to have a very negative idea of the church. Upwards of 1900 Catholic priests died in Dachau and other camps. The escape routes from the occupied countries were run by bishops and priests. In the archives of many western newspapers are copies of letters from the Pope that were read in every Catholic church in Germany condemning the Nazis, calling them pagans and forbidding Catholics from joining them. The majority of Jewish people don't know this. Please ACT !
