​@@davidcammack7981 clang is everything. Clang is our lord and savior. Tho seriously it's something in Space Engineers that people named. Basically it's the physics engine jankiness. People harness it to build things like clang drives, which provide motion without energy but it's pretty unpredictable

In this case, I think he got the clang from having his weird fence connector. I bet stacking bearings with weird collisions could get you an engine, though I'm not sure it'd be in any way consistent.

Tip for future builds regarding the steering. I noticed while messing around with this mod that the wheels don't like being an even width apart. I don't know why that's the case, but yeah, the car needs to be an odd width for the steering to work correctly. You made an awesome build regardless of that one technical hiccup. Keep up the good work!

You can do this more easily with eureka mode. If you put those effects and then put a rudder, it will move it. I tried it and it worked, just use your eureka to speed it up.

I think if the wheels are too far apart, the steering no longer works properly. I've had the same issue as your half-track before, and I fixed it by moving the wheels closer together.

Minecraft moon race? First one between y’all who get setup on the moon, and have a stable hydrolysis system for your oxygen and hydrogen. Works pretty good with New Age (nuclear reactor on the moon is probably the most stable system I’ve implemented. Got about 500,000 stress units at my disposal.)

11:22 I had that issue too. the reason that happens is cause the wheel has a shaft going into it. if you remove the shaft there it should work like normal.

Pretty sure the truck goes ballistic like that because you're using a fence as connection and there's no space for the "block space" to pivot. Would've worked if you just extended it one block away from the first ship wall. (I know it's been a year already but whatever)

Not sure if you have figured out since the making of the video but the cause of the trailer not working is the connection type of the trailer. the hitbox of truck is overlapping with trailer causing the unreliable physics. this can be fixed by adding a smaller hitbox intermediate physics object and locking the physics bearing then on the intermediate adding an unlocked physics bearing connected to the trailer.

you should use the creative gravitron, so just in case you make something a lot heavy you can pick it up easily and it also pick it up from far distance, then if you loose a ship you can do /vs tp *it should get out all the ships with random names* if i we're correct with the command, but if it isn't the command for the VS is /vs

it does work the articulated vehicle but to get it to be any kind of useful you also have to have 2 bearings so it can go up and sideways it locks up otherwise at least in my testing

i feel like it would be cool if they added building drones. first you build a drone block and you can build multiple drones then you click on the block and it add drones to it. and it should work like a schematic canon where you put a schematic in it and fuel as coal but the difference and be it would automatically collect and craft the materials for you. the process goes like this it collects materials from chest anywhere it can find the materials and you can build something call a drone crafter which means if the drones can't find the materials in any chest if it has the materials to make these materials it will go to the drone crafter and craft it themselves and the only thing that stops the process is when a material is not available and if it doesn't have the materials it needs to craft the item for the build
