Sham is probably the most underrated horse of all time its a shame, Sham was a beast!!

Watching Sham run in this race,it makes you ponder what exploits he would have achieved had Secretariat not been around! But he was,and Sham to his credit gave his all and remember he would have set the Derby record if Sec hadn't been in there. Sham was a top horse who deseves the accolades!

Sham was wonderful! He was unlucky that he had the perfect Secretariat in the same crop.

@Letswinjeff Sham was a great horse. You are correct he was born the same year as greatest horse that the world has ever seen. Sham would of been a triple winner if it werent for this reason.

@sataraid Exactly. Sham was the second-best horse in the world in 1973. It was just the worst luck that Secretariat was the best horse that year.
