1st gig i went to see was on 29th june 1979~Sham 69~in Glasgow £1.80 stalls.Steve Jones & Paul Cook joined the set half way through.The valves were support. .Sure ! There's a recording of that night kickin' about ?What a fuckin' great introduction to music for me that night~i'd just turned 13 n' school just broke up for summer.

1979, Sham 69 and the Cimarons, Taunton Odeon, Somerset. Anyone else there that night? Went into a pub behind the Odeon after the gig and Jimmy and Dave Treganna came in! Railway workers were striking and buses were put on at the station. Sang "What have we got" all the way home on the bus.

Yeah I was there in the Photo pit at that gig, backstage with Sham 69. Bought the Cimarons album "Maka", and a few years ago met the Cimarons Engineer in Willesden.

The band fucked up big time in 2006. When the world cup was on. They made Hurry up Harry In to an England chant. They had planned a tour but cancelled it. Seen them about a year ago in Edinburgh, not one of the original band played. Sad, Sham were superb.
